We done here often. The food is very good, even though they forgot to cook the salmon on a plank tonight. The last several times the service has been VERY slow. It has taken a long time to get our food. When we ask why, frequently we’re told that there is a private party that is keeping the kitchen busy. Tonight there was no party and it was still slow. If they know there is going to be a party, they need to plan for it so it doesn’t affect the other guests. Our servers are always very nice.

The food and ambiance here were incredible, and the service was just as exceptional. Our waiter, Carson, went above and beyond to make our experience outstanding, including decorating the table. If you visit, you absolutely have to try the chocolate cake—it's a must!

The restaurant was practically empty on a Friday night. The decor reminded me of an upscale Cheesecake Factory but the comparisons stop there. I would have rather eaten at Cheese Cake Factory. The fact that they are charging Ruth Chris’ prices for Applebees food is terrible. Nothing seemed freshly made. The French onion soup had barely any cheese and the broth was very watered down with hardly any flavor. The pepidew calamari smelled very fishy when it arrived at the table. Was basically frozen fried calamari with a few sad wrinkle pepidews on top. I expected hand sliced French Fries for the truffle parm French fries. They were basically battered in a parm truffle batter and fried. The green bean side was also beer battered and fried with no sauce. Who has beer battered fried sides at a fine dining steak house. Our server was new and very sweet but the manager was never around always hiding and hanging at the bar. Very disappointing for the prices they charge.

Eddie Merlot WAS one of my favorite "go-to" places for a great dining experience. The food WAS delectable, the ambiance was electric, and the service was outstanding. Well, the service certainly lived up to its original standard. The ambiance wasn't bad either. My cocktail was delicious. But, the food...so disappointing. Everything with the exception of the steak (I had the 8 oz filet) tastes like it came out of a Kroger's frozen food box. I had the calamari. It tastes like fried crust and nothing else. The bread was extremely crusty and bordered on just plain hard. My filet could have been tasty except it was clearly cooked without seasoning and tasted extremely bland. I hope the review encourages Eddie Merlot to step up its game. I would really like to go back but at this time, I don't think I will waste another Friday night dining experience on them.

Excellent food and service experience overall. The main dishes are pricey but you get what you pay for: excellent quality food and service.

The service from Carson was amazing! I’d return just to the restaurant simply on his service alone. Ask for him if you are there on the weekends. The food and desserts were also great!

My wife and I recently had dinner here on a date night and had a fantastic experience. The food was excellent, the ambience was elegant, but most important the service was phenomenal. Mikhail our server was friendly, attentive, and made our night out without the kids special. Mikhail really made our dining experience something to remember. We will certainly be back and will request to be seated with him!

First impressions led me to believe dinner would be excellent. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Two of the four steaks did not meet expectations given the cost and they were inconsistent prepared across the table of 5. In addition, the server did not bring one of the sides to the table, bread was delivered at the time of dinner service instead of at the time of being seated and the dessert gates more like alcohol than it did brownie. For the cost of the meal and in comparison to many of the dinner experiences I have had, I do not recommend this restaurant.
