Nestled in the serene beach town of Encinitas, our California Bistro and Natural Wine Bar offers a mix of traditional Spanish flavors with a modern Mediterranean twist, complemented by an exquisite selection of natural wines. Menu favorites include the Maitake Mushroom toast and tahini "aioli", our Green Chile Burger with gruyere cheese, and our locally sourced blue fin tuna crudo with citrus vinaigrette. We play a mix of Brazilian funk, late 90's hip-hop, and French pop all through our vintage Marantz receiver and JBl speakers. Our dimly lit cozy restaurant is ideal for date nights and post-surf hangs.

Very smart menu in a relaxed but still chic setting. Pared down wine list fits in well with the menu . Staff was great, knew the menu

Best food in Encinitas by far! We have been to Echale three times now and every time our experience has been fantastic. The services is always spot on with a friendly welcome as you enter and smiling, friendly, knowledgeable wait staff throughout your dinner. We ordered several appetizers, Roasted Heirloom Carrots with the chile puree and cilanto oil, Bread and Butter (which was so much more!) and the Elote (our favorite, so much fun and an amazing flavor profile) - enjoying the food so much we decided to split the Fennel Tinga Sea Bass.....again OMG! beautifully seasoned, melts in your mouth delicious. If you want an experience to remember, checkout Echale for dinner, you will not be disappointed.

Had a great time here. Would love to see it on a weekend with more people. Food was delicious and service was great.

The food is amazing! The 3 of us shared the ceviche, broccollini, mushroom toast and steak. The flavors were unbelievable and our waiter Jake was so attentive and sweet! This restaurant is one of the best in Encinitas!

The food that was advertised or photographed was not on the menu, the $10 street tacos were the size of my palm and there were 3 ppl working for about 35 customers. If you want someplace with ambiance and par level service, this is not it. Don't bother
