Le Eating House 1849 rend hommage au patrimoine culinaire animé de Hawaii avec un clin d'œil aux restaurateurs tels que Peter Fernandez qui, selon ce qu'on raconte, a ouvert un des premiers restaurants à Hawaii vers le milieu des années 1800s, l'appela The Eating House et puisait ses ressources de ce que pouvaient lui offrir les agriculteurs, les éleveurs, les glaneurs et les pêcheurs locaux. One of my most favorite places to dine when I’m in Wakiki. The Mahi with truffle beurre blanc hits every time. Amazing! And don’t forget the chocolate soufflé.

The food here is delicious, so flavorful, it’s absolutely top-notch. The staff is the real reason I continue to make reservations at Eating House, 1849. The perfect blend of professional and friendly. Each and everyone is a stand out. The atmosphere is lovely but on my last few visits, I missed the live music. Maybe that’s just bad timing on my part or maybe they’re just not doing it as much as they used to. All in all I will continue to visit this fantastic restaurant.

More traditional hawaiian music.

Big fan of Roy's restaurants, first time at this establishment. I liked the setting, and the big open windows into the kitchen. The menu has a lot of similar items to his other restaurants. I liked that they had a $55 prix fixe menu which was a good value. And it was delicious! Highly recommend.

The atmosphere at the bar was inviting. The tone was set for a relaxed evening. Our server was knowledgeable and made great recommendations. The food was delicious.

Back again; two days since my last visit. I already knew what I was going to order when I walked in but perused the menu just for fun and spotted the burger/beer combo that sounded really good. I hadn't had their burger in a long time. It comes with a few delicious tempura style batter and an ample basket of fries. The burger is insanely delicious, juicy, flavorful Makaweli Beef, Wild Boar, Bacon Jam, Caramelized Onions, Mushrooms, Chipotle Aioli. Best burger on island. Our server, Garrett, was friendly, personable and professional.

Enjoyed our 30th Anniversary at Eating House. Service was great & the manager came by to wish us Happy Anniversary. They had a little “Happy Anniversary” placard on our table which was a cute touch. Food was excellent, grilled Salmon w/ risotto & Amberjack w/ crab dynamite. Complimentary chocolate cupcake to celebrate our event. Located at the top of the International Markeplace
