The gluten free pizza was delicious. Last week, I asked the man at the reception desk if they had gluten free options. He told me they had gluten free pizza and pasta. It turns out, they do not have gluten free pasta. Definitely disappointing.

Quite expensive, very small portions, no bread on table. Left hungry. Would not return.

Everyone at the Short Hills mall was excited for Eataly and it didn't disappoint. Place is beautiful and I think the staff are very attentive and service was good. We ate at the restaurant. Food was served a little cold but it was tasty. Plate could have been warmed so make sure that the food was served warmer. Service was a little slow but totally understandable as they have been opened for one week. I also had a chance to eat their sandwiches and pizzas and those were delicious. Again, still could have been warmed a little bit more. I will totally go back and hopefully, above mentioned will be improved.

Considering that Eataly opened less than a week ago, this opening has been seamless and so well run. Restaurant Management, table service, servers and the meal are fantastic. Started with Ferrari Trento Brut & two appetizers. - Burrata Con Caponata- Liuzzi Burrata, Sicilian Caponata, Basil, Olitalia Extra Virgin Olive Oil - Calamari Fritti e Zucchine - Crispy New England Squid, Fried Zucchini, Lemon, Aioli Delicious! Lunch - Ravoli di Zucca - Housemade Butternut Squash filled Ravioli, Butter, Sage, Agriform Parmigiano Reggiano® DOP w/ Black Truffle Perfect ! Finished with - Tortino al Cioccolato di Eataly - So Rich & Delectable!!! Eataly’s Iconic Chocolate Mousse with Hazelnut Bavarese and Chocolate Crunch Jay, Ruffalo & Guadalupe were lovely to have as servers. Jonathan & Roger are excellent managers and attentive. I'm looking forward to going back with more friends, try more dishes on the menu and shop in the marketplace. Eataly has done an incredible work and it's a fantastic addition to Short Hills Mall.

Nice blend of various Eataly cuisine spanning other locations rolled into one restaurant at this location. Nice staff. Great wood-fired pizza! Excellent pastas.

Not comparable to other Eataly locations. Went twice opening week and both times I was disappointed. Let’s hope it improves.

Since they just opened there were some hiccups with staffing. Compared to the two locations in NYC this is a smaller place but carries a lot of imported Italian foods. The restaurant was fully booked and we had to go on a Monday to try it out. They had only one waiter for the whole floor and she did an outstanding job but we noticed that some guests had to wait for over an hour for appetizers so they just walked out. Also, not sure why they make you wait at the front desk even though you had a confirmed reservation. I guess the lack of staffing could be attributed to it. The food was in par with the NYC locations but we were surprised when they told us that they ran out of meatballs and the pizza and pasta were kind of not hot. The pizza we got at the NYC location literally took a while to cool down. I am hopeful this place picks up steam and lives up to the expectations of die hard fans of Lydia and her other establishments throughout the country.

Maybe things were bad because of short staffing and recent opening. Arrival and seating completely disorganized. Appetizers ok, calamari very salty. Mains terrible, pasta so salty it it was almost inedible. Fried chicken flavorless and poorly presented. Not as good as. McNugget, I saw some other tables pizza that looked good. But just good for pizza while shopping. We’ll see if it gets better.
