While pizza and pasta are just the tip of the Italian iceberg, there is a reason these two culinary staples are the most beloved exports from Italy. Enjoy our seasonal selection just steps away from where our expert pasta chefs and dough-slinging pizzaioli (pizza makers) create dishes before your eyes.

This place needs a lot of help and restaurant management guidance. Not only do they have no idea what they're doing but their service staff is equally as unknowledgable.

This is my 4th or 5th time dining at Eataly. When the restaurant first opened, it was completely understandable that the service team were learning and managing patrons to the best of their ability. However I continue to be disappointed with the wait staff. They are not appropriately trained for what one would expect for a high end restaurant. The team comes off as confused and lingers at tables inputting simple dining orders into a tablet that either does not make it easy for them or they do not know how to use it. Today, for a party of 4 (2 were kids), we ordered drinks. Once again, iced tea is not available (which is extremely odd), the Shirley temple could not be made with ginger ale and I ordered an Aperol Spritz which came back without the orange slice. Typically not a big deal but our table was right by the bar and I saw fresh oranges right there asking to be put in the drink. Then we ordered a pizza to share and two pasta dishes. The server had no idea if the pasta dish (cávatelli sausage broccoli rabe) could be made without cheese so she had to go back to the kitchen, again not a big deal but once confirmed, she then repeated our order after standing by our table for an uncomfortable amount of time and then repeated our drink order which was already served to us. Our pizza came out which was for the adults. As we waited for the kids pasta dishes, I asked about the wait to the food runner and she explained pizza comes out of separately from another kitchen. Ok, but then we should have it timed as we were not having appetizers and our pizza sat cold as we waited for our children’s pasta dishes. None of this is a big deal as we are so glad Eatly has come to our neighborhood and the food is delicious but something has to be said as the front of the house is critical and should reflect the standards of a high quality restaurant that most patrons are familiar with from visiting the NYC location.

My sons entree came out about 20 minutes before everyone else’s entree. The chicken was over friend and sauce tasted last target sauce with lemon… disgusting. Our pasta dish with fungi had zero seasoning and was not good. My daughter’s pasta bolognese must have not been stirred while cooking because about 20% of it was all stuck together didn’t have enough sauce and was dry. They are about two or three managers, looking around the entire time, but at one of them came over to check on our food. When our food was served not even the way it came over to see if we needed any grated cheese on our dish or to check on the food. Extremely disappointing.

First time eating here but totally impressed. Olivia was excellent as our waitress and made us feel right at home. The food was way better than anticipated. For an Italian to have good Italian food out is a rarity. This was like being at nonna’s house on a Sunday afternoon. Only thing missing was the couch for the afternoon nap. Excellent food and will definitely be back.

No bread for the table and long wait for the waiter to take our order. Ambiance lacked personality. Soup portion small but excellent. Other entrees average. Lacked specialized touches, c+. Will try it one more.

Olivia and Sergio were wonderful! So upbeat, kind, and caring. The little gem salad with pistachio pesto was amazing! I’m purchasing the jarred pesto next one I’m in the market! The only thing I would change is for the salmon crudo to be wild caught instead of farm raised, you just can’t beat that wild caught flavor. Other than that, everything was delicious! The tiramisu was cool, and delightful!

No bread or focaccia. They run out of it. C’mon is an Italian restaurant, and you run out of bread? The host was like they were doing you a favor, made me wait, despite me having a reservation. Service was very slow. Little disappointed, not the same experience I had at the Flat Iron or Lower Manhattan locations.

They made us wait over 30 minutes for our “reservation“ and then when we finally sat they told us they had no bread products whatsoever. No focaccia, bruschetta, baguette, nothing. I thought this was an Italian restaurant. How do you have no bread??? They also had no seafood like calamari or fish. Horrible experience. We will not be returning.
