The place was not as expected due to the big hype from when they opened the Bloor location. We had a late dinner and half of the items we ordered were sold out, for example the focaccia, lassagna, tiramisu. So we had to do a last minute change on our meal. The pizzas were very soggy in the middle that become very gummy. Price, like today standard high for the quality. Service was ok, but very slow to take our order. In general, an ok restaurant. Not plan to return…

Out of bread (yes seriously) which impacts other menu items but the server didn’t notify us. Kept having to change our order. Slow service. Disappointing compared to other Eataly experiences.

The staff was great they gave really great recommendations … the lasagna was the best !

Ordered the tagliatelle bolognes. While the pasta itself was good it could have been hotter. I found there was not much bolognese with the pasta. Thank goodness I like pasta. We also had a pizza to start and found it nothing special. The dough was too thin making the pizza hard to handle. For the prices paid I expected better.

I have been to Eataly in the past however, this time the service was quite slow and some of the food was simply not fresh. That being said, the servers were polite and removed the non-fresh items off the bill (which was appreciated). Perhaps we simply caught them on a busy night.

Beautiful decor and ambience. Food was amazing - mushroom pasta and pizza were both really good. Love that it is so spacious and chairs are so comfy - baby friendly as well since their washroom has diaper change table and lots of room to park stroller as well!

I wanted to love this place but sadly, I was disappointed. The margherita pizza was very good. But everything else was mediocre. The meatball appetizer was cold and the meatballs were a little tough. And the ravioli were woefully undercooked. Not al dente. Undercooked. Dessert was also underwhelming. I ordered the sfogliatelle. They were not fresh and had virtually no cream inside. Service was robotic and not at all warm.

Focaccia bread starter was great. Served with olive oil and rosemary for dipping. Arugula salad was generous and tasty. We added shrimp which didn’t taste too fresh. Spinach filled ravioli was al dente and tasty. PISTACCHIO E ALBICOCCHE For dessert was not too sweet and portion was adequate for sharing. Our server, Robert, was attentive and very pleasant. I mentioned we were at the restaurant to celebrate a birthday bit they didn’t acknowledge the occasion. Overall we felt it was good value for the cost.
