Eataly has a nice ambience. The greeter seemed like she was in a rush and wasn’t giving greeter energy (somebody who is more outgoing should be at the front). Our server was nice, but had asked us if we wanted cheese, chili flakes or olive oil after we received our meal, so we said we wanted chili flakes and the cheese. She said she would be right back, but never returned with our extra cheese and chili flakes. Consequently, we had finished our pasta and when she came to collect the plates, it was evident that she forgot about the cheese and chili flakes. Overall, service could be better. I haven’t been to the Toronto downtown location, but have heard that this location does not compare to the original Toronto location, so this review is not true for all Eataly locations.

The food was very mediocre. For the price u pay. I expected a lot more. The service also was not great at all. Don’t think the waiter deserves what I had tipped him. I ordered a steak and he didn’t even ask me how I wanted the steak cooked. I actually had to tell him. The tagliatelle bolognese was such a small portion and barely any meat for the price you pay for that dish. I would probably never go again. Maybe just to shop in the grocery part of it but I would never eat there again. First and last!

I’ve enjoyed my experience at the Yorkville location. Unfortunately this experience was lacking. The menu at the restaurant does not match the one linked to their open table profile. My entree arrived at our table before the appetizer, and while we were enjoying our pre dinner cocktail. Although our server acknowledged my entree was very early it was allowed to sit at our table for 40 minutes while we waited for our app and then my partners entree. By the time my partners entree arrived, the sauce on my pasta had seized up and although I mentioned this to our server there was no offer to remake the dish.

Great service! We both had an appetizer (burrata, meatballs) and main course (ravioli, tagliatelle) plus a nice glass of wine each… just over $200. Pasta was good but nothing to “write home about.” Good brand. Exciting to see it expanding!

Very enjoyable experience. Pasta dish was disappointing as pasta undercooked and over sauced. Would go again as I think they will get better iverall.

Food was delicious, had barbabietole salad & spinach ravioli. Did not disappoint. I will definitely return to try other dishes, including the pizza!

We had a reservation and we had to wait 10 to 15 minutes, sat us down a cubby hole. The service is not good, we served for three or four different staff and was not consistent, the food is good and drinks were ok. We will still go back because they are still new and adjusting! GREAT atmósfera and friendly staff.

Enjoyed my meal immensely. The food was very good. The service was excellent (thank you to our waiter, Favour!). A nice glass of wine and the dessert was amazing.
