Our newly rebranded "Eat Bar & Patio Haraheri" is open once again! Located conveniently in the center of Downtown Vancouver between Granville Entertainment District and Sheraton Vancouver Wall Center, you can enjoy Japanese fusion tapas, beer and more on our spacious patio under a starlit Vancouver sky.


We keep seats for walk-in customers as well. No available seats on OpenTable does not mean we are fully booked. Please be aware that we have a two hour seating limit during peak hours.

    The food was enjoyable. The tasting menu for 2 seemed a bit small, but over time satisfies you. You essentially get a small portion of food on one plate that you're expected to share with another person, the cold dishes were average, but the hot dishes were very good. The timing of the food was terrible though. It took over 2 and a half hours for all the food to arrive at the table. The courses were also not brought out in a timely manner with the third person at the table who ordered a la carte.

    Really awesome food, good quality and taste. Ambiance was so beautiful and calming. Service not great but I would go again for everything else.

    Great outdoor patio seating with a retractable roof that blocks off the sun effectively. Food was good - ordered the Royal bento and a few items of the HH menu. Enjoyable overall.

    A friend had recommended this spot to us and we decided to give it a try. The taste and texture of our meal was fantastic. We had the Royal Bento and I loved every bit of it, and to my surprise thought the eggplant and cauliflower were my favourite parts. Our brunch was a bloody good experience and we will return for more.

    This restaurant took over the prev Guu Garden. The concept is the same - Japanese Izakaya. Food and drink is very good and reasonably priced. They kept the maintenance of the garden as well which keeps the elegant Japanese atmosphere.

    Good but not great. The tuna tartar tasted very bland was most avocado def needed salt or some seasoning.

    The service was very attentive. Really appreciated it since we were seated behind a pillar and any other place would forget to check-in on us. The Hariheri tasting menu was tasty and an excellent value. I will come back and try other items from their menu and I would definitely recommend Haraheri to others.

    It was such a surprising find in the middle of the city. People who served us were lovely, the food was delicious and unique, and the patio area was perfect for catching up with close friends and being able to actually have a conversation. Their menu is plenty of food and, definitely worth the price. Love this place!

    Hari Heri is my go to spot to bring out of town guests. One of our guest is celiac (allergic to gluten) and the server was able to provide us with information about what items they can eat, what can be substituted and/or left on the side to not cross contaminate. Service was very attentive, refill of water, clearing of plates. The portions and prices are reasonable. The seafood was fresh and sweet. Definitely will return as well as recommend Hari Heri.
