Originally opened in 2005, Garrett Harker’s flagship restaurant has reopened its doors just up Beacon St. only three blocks from its original location. Eastern Standard continues to offer seasonally focused New England interpretations of classic brasserie fare, including raw bar and charcuterie, nostalgic favorites like steak tartare, baked rigatoni, steak frites, and butterscotch bread pudding, and some new soon-to-be-instant-classic dishes. Cocktail legend Jackson Cannon has crafted a beverage menu that features an array of craft cocktails both new and classic, a curated selection of wines, and craft beers from near and far.

La célèbre brasserie Eastern Standard est de retour au Bower Complex et n'a jamais été aussi excellente. To celebrate Christmas Day, we're offering a three-course prix fixe menu for $95 per person plus tax, gratuity, and kitchen admin fee. The menu will feature traditional holiday favorites, Eastern Standard classics, and seasonal chef-inspired New England dishes. We can accommodate dietary restrictions - please email us at team@easternstandardboston.com with any questions or special requests. Beverage, including our full wine list, will be offering our kids menu and some fun sides and additions for your meal. Payment for all food and beverage will be due at the conclusion of your meal. We sat at the bar this time and we had the best service! The food was amazing! Always a good time.

We were regulars at the old ES and this was our first time to the new edition. While the butterscotch bread pudding was outstanding as always, our dinners were lackluster. One sandwich’s bun was incredibly stale , and the burger was so densely packed and over cooked. Service was good and we liked the ambiance but we will be hesitant to return for more than dessert.

First time visiting its new restaurant location. Loved the ambiance. We had a bar reservation prior to a Red Sox game, took a little bit of time before we were noticed by bartending staff. We felt we had to ask for everything instead of being waited on. The food recommendations were excellent. Will definitely be back. Hopefully the outdoor patio will be open on our next visit.

Went to lunch yesterday, from out of town. Only two tables in the entire restaurant. Service was incredibly poor. Food was underwhelming for the cost. Steak had zero seasoning on it and the butter for the sourdough bread was pumped full of salt. Only positive was the homemade sourdough bread. Go somewhere else for the cost. (Mandatory 4% kitchen tax 👎🏻)

We were excited to head back to the re-located ES however had a very mixed evening. The location and the calamari, steak frites & grilled shrimp were terrific. Unfortunately, the veal schnitzel had little flavor. We had issues with it being VERY loud and also really overly air conditioned.--it wasn't hot last night And the service was very inconsistent--things were delivered sporadically, late or incorrectly . Overall, a disappointing meal out.
