We were a group of 7 with kids aged from 10 to 13 with a dog coming to a busy Saturday dinner service. The atmosphere was busy and buzzy. We were allocated the perfect long table in between the busy bar and the restaurant. The service was faultless! So friendly and nothing was too hard. Highly recommend for a family friendly dinner.

Lovely pub to bring your pooch to. Good food. Shame about so many screens flickering in your face! No one was looking at any of the screens - just families and locals with their dogs. Please turn off for diners

Venue, food and service were all very good both at the bar and at our table. The only criticism was the time it took for our meals but we weren’t in a rush. Would go back again. 👍

Lovely pub, great atmosphere, lovely staff. Easy to book a table. Roasts were ok - good portions but meat (both beef and lamb) were over-cooked.

we all enjoyed our meals. We think it is a great place for a Sunday lunch One was a bit disappointed with the mint sauce..... I think she liked it thicker but she said it tasted great and then said I could have done with more! We all were pleasantly surprised with the addition of beetroot and we thought Ally went out of her way for us

Local gem. Lovely beer garden. Very dog friendly. Amazing Sunday roast. Friendly service. Bus stop at door. Five minute walk to ferry. Ticked all the boxes for our Sunday afternoon.

From the moment we walked in we were greater with a warm friendly smile. Took our order which was delivered promptly The Yorkshire Pudding was perfect and as for the potatoes, well they were crisp on the outside and fully inside and melted in one’s mouth. The meat was tender and cooked to traditional Yorkshire method. The staff were very attentive and very well mannered. As for the desert, the joy just kept coming and tickled the tickled the buds. All washed down with a great cup of coffee. We are already planning our next visit. As a person with disabilities I had no issues getting inside to my table or leaving. We’ll set out for different occasions,

Staff were excellent and the food and wine were delicious, however, we thought the vegetables with the roast could have had a little more thought put into them. It was a little noisy but we were sitting in the front bar during a League match so it was to be expected. Overall an enjoyable experience and we will be back
