Went on a busy Sat night. They sat us with our Open Table reservation right away. Our waitress was great, run off her feet though! We both had the Gnocchi Fritti starter, Lightly breaded potato gnocchi fried and it was a bit hard & crunchy. Other than that, bread and soup were delicious.

We reserved via open table and when we arrived there was no reservation. Luckily we were still seated but definitely as an after thought. Waiter was good when he was present but he wasn’t present much. Bread took 30 minutes to get to table, they ran out of all three soups. And it took 40 minutes from when I finished eating until dessert and bill, most was spent waiting for service

We had booked a reservation for my daughters 11th birthday dinner consisting of only 4 people. When we arrived, the restaurant was fairly empty and quite a few staff were running around in a disorganized manner. we waited an exorbitant amount of time to be seated. When we were finally seated, it took the hostess about 20 minutes to bring us menus for the children which I had to ask for twice. From the moment that we stepped in the door, the service was horrible.. We had to ask for everything at least twice and it took us probably one hour to receive our food from the time of ordering. My daughter and her friend were brought their meals probably a good 45 minutes after the rest of the table had gotten theirs. Our server was short, snippy and made us feel like we were burdening her every time we would ask for anything ( our requests only really consisted of ordering our meals straight off the menu). I worked in service for many years and understand that everyone is entitled to having an off day.. That being said, I dont think that I have ever had a worse experience in my life! At the end of the meal when I had asked for take out containers and the bill probably 3x, I requested to speak with the manager on duty.. The manager was incredibly kind, apologetic and extended the gesture to make up for our horrible experience. I am not quite sure if this was just an off night but any other time I have come to this location I have had a great experience.

Horrible experience. The AC was broken and we were not even told that before being seated. Inly after being seated and waited 48 mins just for drinks did we ask for them to ajust the temp as it was super hot. Only to be told "it's been broken all summer" then asked for the manager to then be told "he's in india" the washrooms were nasty not cleaned. The floors were dirty and sticky. The tables were not cleaned after guest left dirty dishes left until they needed it for the next guest. It was overall a disaster of a visit. There is no reason we should have had to wait so long for just drinks. We also had to ask for our bread. We ordered a salad with no bacon. Said no bacon by 3 of us. Only to be brought out a salad with bacon. The girl went back got another Only for this one to ha e the bacon at the bottom. 3rd try she came out with the salad and said " I personally made this so it shouldn't have bacon" I mean if you personally made it then you should be saying it definitely doesn't have bacon.

Listen, East Side Mario’s is amazing. It was the perfect place for my family to celebrate my 6-year-old niece’s birthday before we went to the movie theatre next door. This was my first time eating there. What great value! Limitless salad and soup??? Wow. The staff were so friendly too. They brought out two desserts for my niece, and we all enjoyed our pasta dishes. It’s obviously not Michelin level, but you can’t beat the value. And in this economy…. That’s worth 5 stars.

caesar salad made with iceberg lettuce not romaine, dressing lacked flavour , very diluted, tasted like wet lettuce my entree only had one spear of chicken- Ametricanna had to remind server that we did not receive our drinks and had to ask for cheese for our meals

Had to wait to be seated at 530 restaurant was empty. Lack of staff reason for the wait. Service was slow and inattentive. We ordered the Thursday special Dinner for 2 for $50. Our wait staff did not know the details. We had to explain to them. Bread and salad were typical and taste was ok. Bada boomers kind of a let down. Fried pizza dough and a side of sauce. Dough was soggy and greasy. My husband had the chicken parm pasta was fine but chicken was this over cooked and chewy. I had the chicken tetrazzini chicken was not good some peices were crunchy and over cooked. Pasta was greasy. The mini desserts were also a letdown. Overly sweet and dry cake. Overall a reminder why we haven’t been to Eastside Mario’s in a while and we won’t be returning anytime soon.
