    We enjoyed a table outdoors on a beautiful end of September late afternoon. The ambience was perfect! Our drinks and food were super, great value for our money! Our server was efficient and very pleasant. We wouldn’t change a thing!

    Table not ready when we arrived. Had to wait 30 minutes after reservation time. Food is over priced for the quality. One meal had to be sent back due to over seasoning as a result one person in our party had to wait close to an hour to finally eat.

    Dependably good food. The place is always very busy so sometimes the staff get a little swamped, but they get the job done and are friendly and polite. Our waiter, Tom, looked after us very well.

    Although the dining room was supposed to be the quieter location, it was still a bit noisy for visiting with out of town friends. Staff was friendly and several different people checked that we had everything we needed. The food took a while to arrive, and we had theatre tickets, so at first I was concerned that we would be rushed, but we had given ourselves lots of time with an early reservation. The wait gave us time to visit. Overall, a very enjoyable experience.

    My husband and I are regular diners at the Earl's in the Toronto Financial District. It is often "energetic" in terms of noise level, but the volume this time was at least twice what anyone might describe as energetic. There were multiple large groups who were standing, rather than sitting at the tables in their area - they were extremely loud and impeded access to the washrooms. On top of the noisy humans, the music volume was cranked to what must have been maximum. Every seat was full and guests had to shout so that their table mate could hear them. My husband and I finally resorted to texting one another. In spite of all that, our server was truly delightful, our steaks were cooked perfectly, and our food came quickly.

    Excellent, we had to wait more than half an hour for out table although we had a reservation. Management responded by offering us a free drink................... Very professional staff, friendly.

    Tyler was a great server, very enthusiastic and funny, helped navigate the menu. Happy there's plant based options to eat, but no vegan dessert available. Wednesday half price bottles of wine, great deal.
