    I have been to Earl‘s twice before and was very impressed with the creative dishes and a plant-based section of the menu with multiple and creative plant based options,  and of course, fantastic cocktails, and mocktails.  I was disappointed to go last night and find that the menu has been changed in the past month and they have deleted many of the plant based items, including a couple of creative and very good tofu appetizers and main dishes. Now, for plant-based items, there is exactly one appetizer-an avocado and corn dip, which is incredible, a cold noodle dish with tofu, and a vegan burger. Although all other burgers on the menu come with fries, the vegan burger does not and it was a $7.75 up charge to add them. Then, despite discussing with the very pleasant server that I was vegan, she offered me the truffle version which apparently comes with Parmesan cheese all over it for an additional three dollars. We did send the truffle fries back and those were replaced with regular fries. I ordered the vegan burger and it was mediocre. It is not something I would want to get again, which would leave as an entrée choice only the cold noodle dish. Hopefully they will restore the deleted, or add some more, plant-based options. It was very nice to come here before and have several things to choose from and not have to engage in a discussion with the server about modifying other menu items.

    Dining at Earls Kitchen (Pru) was a great experience. The food was tasty. The drinks were amazing. Our server, Andrew, was awesome. He was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. His customer service was top notch.

    Busy Saturday dinner crowd had the kitchen clearly overwhelmed. Cold truffle fries app (returned), drink order botched, entree delivery staggered, with one main returned when it finally arrived; it included an ingredient that my wife specifically told them to leave off because she’s allergic to it. We’ve had decent meals here in the past, but this experience was mediocre.

    Place is very obviously busy. High noise level . appetizer was forgotten. We received our entrées and informed the server we never received our appetizer. it was then brought out. Probably should have been comped at that point Same with a coke that my friend ordered. Arrived flat

    There were mice scampering around. Literally feet away from our table. They said “oh yeah, that’s been an ongoing problem.” The service was awful. Slow and forgetful. And food came out cold. Place has gone downhill fast and hopefully this is the bottom. Not much further to fall.
