Le premier emplacement du restaurant dans la région de Boston. L'Earls Kitchen + Bar est un bar-restaurant décontracté haut de gamme situé à l'Assembly Row de Somerville. Il propose un menu du monde avec des versions modernes de la cuisine ethnique avec des amuse-gueules, des hamburgers et steaks de bœuf angus certifié hachés à la main et des légumes frais de saison. Last night, Sunday, 10/13/24, we had a reservation for 7:00 p.m. at Earl's in Somerville. The server told us this was her first week working there, but she was very personable and attentive. We were my wife and I, my 91-year-old mother-in-law, and my 29-year-old daughter. My mother-in-law and I ordered the Crab Cake Entree, which comes with 2 crab cakes each. All of the food was tasty and delicious. However, when it was time to clear the table, my mother-in-law's plate still had one full, untouched crab cake. Hers was the last dish cleared. The server did not ask if she wanted a box for an obvious premium and expensive crab cake. She left with the dish, and my wife followed her to the kitchen entrance, but the server had very quickly thrown the full crab cake in the trash. My wife asked the server to speak with the manager to see if anything could be done. The server came back to us and said there was nothing that the restaurant could do, according to the manager. We ordered dessert and espresso. When the check came nothing at all was taken off the bill. I again asked the server if she had spoken to the manager. Again she said that the manager was not willing to do anything for us. My mother-in-law had wanted to take the remaining crab cake home to enjoy the next day. Instead, we all left with a bad taste in our mouths, because of the inaction of the manager and the server. They did not comp dessert or coffee or anything. We still left a 20% tip for the server. We will not return to Earl's and we will let all of our friends in Cambridge, Belmont, Watertown, Somerville, and beyond know of this ridiculous incident.

We apologize for the service and the lack of compensation from not only the server, but from how our management team dealt with finding a resolution for the issue at hand. I have always loved Earls!!! The waitress was great but they definitely seemed short handed. Miss some of the great items they took off the menu .... Food didn't all come out together either .... Overall it was a great experience

Our waiter was absolutely wonderful! He made the entire experience! Food was delicious and atmosphere was excellent!

Service was slow, had to ask a busboy for plates after pizza was delivered and sat for several minutes and became cold. Wanted to order the street corn and avocado dip but they had run out of chips at 7:30pm. Also ordered the calamari and spicy tuna sushi both were average. Have been here numerous times but it will be awhile before coming back. Also was presented with someone else’s bill at the end which we pointed out and was half the price of our true bill. Overall disappointing evening.

First we waited 30mn to get our table even with a reservation. We ordered 5 steak frites, and all the plates came cold. You could tell the waiter was bothered about us complaining. They brought new fries and only one was steak was changed as the cooking was totally missed. We only got one glass of wine complimentary. pretty bad experience overall

Service by King was excellent! Super knowledgeable about the menu, very attentive and made sure we had a great experience! Unfortunately they were out of quite a few of the drinks my husband wanted and it was super hot inside of the restaurant but other than that we had a great experience mainly due to Kings service!
