The food was standard Earl’s Fare, the server was excellent. We were seated beside the kitchen and the noise level was high….then the timers/temp sensors or whatever in the kitchen started going off which sounded more like an ER than a restaurant. Then the head chef/kitchen manager started quarterbacking the orders. I realize he was just doing his job (and it sounded like he was very competent) but the rest of the meal was ruined for me because he was hollering like a drill sergeant (albeit a polite one) and was actually causing me pain he was so loud. So, really my complaint is perhaps about the complete lack of thought to noise management and acoustical design. Why would you have a 5 foot partition wall between a noisy busy kitchen when a full partition wall would reduce the noise to a manageable level? If you are going to this Earl’s during the supper rush, you may want ask for a seat away from the kitchen!

It was enjoyable to sit out in the patio. Good service, as usual the food was very good. Our server, Caitlin was very nice and attentive.

Tasty as always! Hadn't been here for a number of years.... food and staff were great. She was attentive, funny and our dinner/catch up wasnt rushed.

The meal was great. Coffee cold. Music a bit loud for conversation. Had better service on other trips to Earls. Short staff. Apparently a hit and miss with service depending on staff.

I ordered a GF pizza which was delicious and had some to take home as well. A friend ordered the tortellini and also found it very good. The menu has a lot of "trendy" dishes, vegan, etc. Staff is friendly! They frequently check to make sure that everything is ok and if you need anything. The only thing that was that my friend asked for a coffee (twice) and never rec'd it. The server went off shift and the replacement did bring her a coffee. He explained that if he needed to make a pot, it could be a few minutes.

First time back at this location since probably 1984. Had a lovely time. Food was good, ambience was good but just like eating out anywhere else for a healthier meal, the costs have gone through the roof. Still, had a wonderful time.
