Rachel was our fabulous waitress! Almost out total favorite downtown for lunch as the Poor Boy 🦐& 🦪rock! As does the Chowdah! 🥣

We really like Duval's. We got there just before the end of Happy Hour and our server, Jen, volunteered to keep our 2nd glasses of Chardonnay in the chiller for us until we were ready for them. What a great deal -- Happy Hour prices paid for Happy Hour wine ordered before 6:00 but consumed later. Since Swordfish was not on the Fresh Catch menu (and I love the way Duval's does Swordfish), we decided to share a few appetizers. Always a good choice and always delish. It was a delightful night dining outside in their Parklet. We are so happy that Sarasota voted to continue to allow them even after the COVID-19 pandemic ended.

We had dinner during the week to celebrate a milestone birthday for my wife, joined by two sons and their wives. We ordered a lot of food and EVERYTHING was outstanding, the appetizers were perfect (Crab cakes were outstanding!), the fish was very fresh and perfectly prepared. Our server, Lexi, was friendly, attentive, and professional. We have all dined at high end restaurants around the world and this experience was considered by all as one of the best that we have experienced. Thank you Lexi, the chef, and owners, it made this occasion even more special and memorable.

Nice outdoor seating on a beautiful night with friendly, though inconsistent, service. Seafood Bouillabaisse was superb - I would go back just for that! Not something I would usually order, but server recommended and I’m glad I did. Grouper special was just ok. Good flavor, but pretty dry.

Great experience! We were seated outside. Service was attentive without hovering . The dinner was not rushed, the plates arrived freshly cooked. Food was delicious. The catch of the day is a solid choice. Will definitely visit again.

Outside seating was nice. Server was sweet and good. Food was pretty bad tho. Tuna steak dry and hard. Grouper overcooked. Filet it great. They did take the tuna off our bill, which was great.
