   Given it’s high rank (#3 in Sarasota) and boasting “Best Seafood in Sararsota for 9 years!” We had high expectations. I was very impressed with the hostess and we were accommodated quickly despite being very early. The food was slightly above average. Don’t get me wrong, everything we ate was very good, but nothing blew us away. The drinks were average at best. Our server was definitely the weak link. He did not check on us during our meal, ask if we would like a 2nd cocktail or offer to refill our water. He did not tell us what fresh fish was available or offer any suggestions. He spent a great deal of time at the host stand, presumably waiting for the table of 6 that eventually was seated next to us. But they sat down as we were leaving, so he had ample opportunities to check on us.

   We love Happy Hour at Duval’s! Our favorite seats are at the bar window watching all of the downtown fun!

   Another wonderful lunch @ Duvall’s a favorite downtown 🐟🐠🍣🍤restaurant. Delicious chowda 🥣 & killer 🦪🦪🥖poor boy sandwich w cole slaw.

   The service was spectacular. The weather was amazing. Sat outside and enjoyed a beautiful lunch. The grouper tacos were over the top! We also had Caesar salad, crabcake, and lobster bisque. The bisque was outstanding. Service was great. Loved our server.

   The food was spectacular! Crab cake and lobster bisque were wonderful as was the fresh fish. Steak rolls and eggplant tomato I were wonderful apps.

   Our server, McKenzie was fabulous! Cheers to her and Duval's. We eat there every couple of weeks and it is always outstanding!

   Duval's is one of our favorite restaurants in Sarasota. The best seafood for lunch or dinner. The staff, service, and food is so delicious. We enjoy Happy Hour. Thank you

   Not as good as usual. The risotto was not cooked all the way, some bites were crunchy. The salmon was cooked perfectly. So 1 dish was great the other not so good. Service was great.

   I was very disappointed in the reservation process. Anything we did on open table never registered with the restaurant.
