Lukasz Szumski’s culinary career began early at the age of 18, as a chef in the Chicago Rib Shack, Obica Mozzarella Bar and other great brands, Lukasz sought opportunities to develop his creativity

Lukasz Szumski has developed his culinary techniques with a passion for locally sourced products. In 2022, Lukasz established The Dusty Miller restaurant, where he elevated the restaurant to its current state and continued to update the menu every week. Everyone has something to treat themselves.

The Dusty Miller Gastropub menu has a lot of options for everyone for gluten-free, vegan or meaty options.

The service was good & the food that I had ( lamb shanks) was very nice. My only complaint was that the pub was very cold, (November). There was no heating on, just a very small open fire & we had to sit in our coats for the duration of the meal. No heating in the toilets either. I didn't think that the desserts were very good value for money. I had an ice cream bomb which was the equivalent of 1 scoop of ice cream covered with cocoa powder. It was served in a ramekin dish , very small. It cost £7.50. If it had been on a plate with some garnish, maybe some fruit & cream it would have been better value. I might go back on a nice sunny day but definitely not in the winter.

First time eating in the dusty miller, been wanting to try the roast for a few months now. Ordered two lamb roast but unfortunately wasn’t any, we wasn’t told in arrival only when ordering. So u ordered the pork belly which thought tasted like gammon and wasn’t bork belly at all, even tho I still enjoyed it was just disappointed which false advertisement.

Food was cold and not of the same quality it used to be, service was terrible, very loud 80’s music playing which just seemed odd. We will not be returning

Delicious food and friendly welcome and service. Unfortunately the venue was very quiet and after 30 minutes of arriving we were the only customers so the ambience was a little weird for a Saturday evening. We still enjoyed the food and evening catching up with friends. The lamb shank was delicious.

Lovely small pub with fantastic food Wonderful out door area with lots of parking Would definately revisit

The food was really good but the service let the experience down. We waited over half an hour to be given our menus. To be fair, it was Sunday lunchtime but we watched other tables that joined the same time as us order and get their food before we had been given our menus. Although I would go back, because the food was good, I wouldn't go on a Sunday lunchtime again.

Food was lovely and service was good, only down side was not taking empty glasses when bringing drinks, not letting us know what desserts they were out of and no English mustard to go with roast beef.

Just want to say thank you to dusty miller the food was outstanding. The service was excellent, staff were happy and actually chatted to you made you feel welcome. Will definitely be back and will recommend to people.

David Thank you so much for your visit ! mean a lot to us , pop in weekday and try our set menu with 2 courses for £20 , bringing taste of Italy to Harlow , specially our amazing Arancini that chefs made and they changed with plenty of flavours inn . The food was nice but only one young lady working so the service was extremely slow. It was an hour from reservation time to having our food arrive.
