Hair in the food led us to lose appetite Waiter came late to ask for our orders but they never even gave us menus Food quality seemed comparable to that of a restaurant priced less than half as much Only restrooms are dingy little rooms shared w 6th floor of hotel floor last renovated in the early 90s

The experiences was just that. It was an experience. The staff was wonderful from the hostess to the waiting staff. The food was delicious. The views were immaculate. I brought my family of 7 here from out of town and we are all fans of authentic italian cuisine. Safe to say the team at Duomo51 did not disappoint. The food was absolutely amazing. The waiting staff was helpful and made sure everyone had a great time and enjoyed every course of the email. My only regret is we didn’t save room for desert. Definitely coming back the next time I am in town. Thank you to the Duomo51 team!

The experience was decent overall. The rooftop feel was more patio outdoor seating and there is currently construction occurring so the scaffolding is still up and blocks portions of the views. The food itself is pretty good. The truffle menu was tasty and the wines are also great. I will definitely give it another shot but will lower expectations for the ambiance. 7/10 would recommend

Food was good. The entrance and the overall environment of the DoubleTree hotel does not do the restaurant service. The restaurant is better than hotel. The service was okay, but maybe a bit rushed, ie they wanted us to order all courses at the same time. It was slightly expensive but I guess normal for New York.

Good Italian quality food, nice atmosphere and pleasant environment. Service was not attentive and not swift we had to wait for 30 min just to order desert. For the prices they are asking - service is not up to the expected level.

Getting upstairs to the restaurant was a bit of maze, as I had to walk around many suitcases in the lobby of the Doubletree. Once upstairs, the Mâitre D' greeted us and brought us to the table. We were there for Restaurant Week and there was a great choice for all three courses. The noise level was fine, and we could converse easily. The food was delicious. The wait staff seemed confused as to whom got what. I guess the waiter didn't have it written down. Each course was nicely plated and the proper temperature. The location was close to my office, which was key. I would go back for lunch and would recommend it.

We were in the city celebrating my birthday. The restaurant is gorgeous with panoramic views of St. Patricks Cathedral and Rockefeller Center. At the top of the hour you can hear the church bells chime. Our waiter was Bajram. He was so kind and attentive. He even offered a complimentary limoncello for my birthday! The food was amazing! We had the artichoke avocado appetizer. Absolutely delicious! Entree I had the halibut special and my husband the house made gnocchi with shrimp. Both melt in your mouth and full of flavor! Our cocktails were also unique and refreshing! Dessert was the freshly made tiramisu! Creamy and delicious. Highly recommend Duomo 51. We had a wonderful time.

A wonderful sleeper of a wonderful restaurant. The polpette are in a sauce as good as I’ve had in any restaurant in Italy! Great prix fixe lunch.

Had a nice table in the covered patio overlooking 51st Street. Had the procuitto and melon, followed by the spinach and ricotta ravioli in the parmesean cream sauce. Both were excellent. Kris and the staff were attentive and welcoming. Would certainly go back again.
