Brian Dunsmoor’s namesake restaurant, Dunsmoor, is the latest iteration of his ongoing exploration of American heritage cooking. It is, first and foremost, a restaurant for the community that surrounds it, and a loving expression of the relentless research that has informed his cooking for the last ten years.

We offer the full menu at tables in our dining room and at the chef's counter, as well as at our outdoor tables. Reservations are recommended but we make every effort to accommodate walk-ins when possible.

Dunsmoor's wine bar, accessible either through the restaurant or via its own door on Ave 35, does not accept reservations and serves a limited menu of our raw and larder items.

Peu de chef·fe·s maîtrisent la cuisine au feu de bois comme Brian Dunsmoor, qui a fait ses classes chez la star sudiste Hatchet Hall avant d'ouvrir son restaurant éponyme en 2022. Les longues tables ornées de bougies scintillantes font de l'établissement le lieu idéal pour un rendez-vous galant, tout comme les plats exaltants tels que les huîtres cuites au feu de bois ou les côtelettes de porc en croûte aux champignons. Le pain de maïs enrobé de beurre est un délice.

Came here for my birthday yesterday and had an amazing time! Everything was delicious from the wine, entrees and dessert! I really recommend the pork chop, mashed potatoes, baby albacore, and the corn bread. They also have a very knowledgeable sommelier who’s available to talk about wine options and find the perfect match for you! Will definitely be coming back◡̈

Love everything about this restaurant except that they wait to seat you until all members of your party have arrived. In LA this is not a very logical policy.

Loved everything about this restaurant. I’ve been wanting to eat here for quite some time and Dunsmoor definitely did not disappoint! The entire experience was stellar. Everyone was so delightful to interact with and when I asked if they would consider having us at the Chefs Table, they were able to accommodate. What an experience!! The food was so well crafted and perfected complemented by the wine pairings suggested by both our waitress Zoe and their in-house sommelier. Worth the trip and stay for their rice pudding dessert! Amazing overall!😍👏👏👏

Great food with impeccable, thoughtful service. The wine selection was easy to navigate and overall, our evening was frictionless and had an excellent flow.

Everything about this restaurant is perfect. The food is creative and unique, but at the same time it's comforting and familiar. For example their Sour-milk Cornbread is the most unique and delicious cornbread l've ever had. You have to try it. Also, the Bluefin Tun, quail and killed chicory where all beyond amazing. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. In addition to the incredible staff and great food -- the space is beautiful. Be sure to check out The Grant next door when you're in the neighborhood.

What can I say? This place was absolutely incredible. Each dish was magnificent, but my standouts were the cornbread and the baby albacore. Ryan was an awesome server and really took care of us! Also, since me and my lady were celebrating our anniversary, Rodney was nice enough to bring out a blueberry pie a la mode. Overall, I loved it and absolutely will be returning and bringing friends this time! Thanks yall!
