   It would be unfair to comment further. We were the only diners in the restaurant and, although everything was fine or better, we hope that the venue is normally busier than on our visit. Only then would it be possible to comment in detail.

   Delicious homecooked Sunday roast. Served by a lovely friendly waitress. Also a reasonable price. Will definitely return.

   Always a nice place to eat, the Sunday Lunch Menu is very reasonable.

   Food was lovely, service was shockingly slow, we felt forgotten and neglected and my father in law had to get up 4 times during our meal to get a staff member to come over. May as well have worked their ourselves. Not impressed, probably won’t return or recommend. Also had a bad belly when I returned home less than 15 minutes away and didn’t eat anything else so I think it was the food.

   4 of us dined on Saturday. We had amazing starters of oysters and soup. We followed this with delicious main courses. The service was excellent, ambience great. All in all a fabulous evening and without doubt will be back.

   As cold night not busy but did not fell wastting there time , took our coats and good service mussels I had need bit more taste to the sauce ,

   Lovely meal, and such good service. The menu offered so much more choice than the one online or in the window! In fact spoilt for choice. We both had the fish options - simply cooked but delicious, just as should be.
