Duner's, brought to you by Ten Course Hospitality, is a casual fine dining restaurant located five miles west of Charlottesville in the village of Ivy, Virginia. Our menu changes daily, allowing our chefs to use the best ingredients seasonally available. We have an extensive wine list, a full bar and a very experienced service staff. Established in 1983, our goal has always been to serve great food in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Our portions are generous, our ingredients are the finest and we want everyone who walks in the door to become a regular customer!

Food was spectacular, everything we ordered was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. Excellent wine list. The drawback here is definitely the small space. While the quaint nature of the establishment certainly adds to the charm, they need to think through their spacing a bit so it doesn't feel as claustrophobic. Perhaps think about limiting the number of groups over 4 that are seated at similar times. My husband and I were seated in the main room in the center area in front of the bar. It was impossible to have even the most basic level of conversation as we were sandwiched between two large parties to each side of us. And because of how the tables were arranged, it left only the space beside us for everyone (servers, guests, food runners, etc) to walk by, hitting our elbows or needing us to move slightly out of their way (by no fault of their own - it was the only way anyone could go in/out of the seated space). All in all, we look forward to going back to explore the menu, and we left very satisfied with our meals and overall service. But the experience itself was uncomfortable (at best) because of the space issue. Notes: our reservation was a January Saturday night at 7pm and we are lean/average in size.

Very disappointing and overpriced meal. The kitchen was backed up, service was very meh and my trout entree was dry by the time it arrived. After giving it another shot after my last so-so meal, it is not the same old Duners sadly.

We were place at our table on time. The restaurant was extremely busy. As a result, we had a hard time finding a place to park. We were in a booth so the noise of the place was minimal. Great menu options. The food was outstanding. Every person was pleased with their choice. The service was a tad slow due to the busy night, but we were never rushed to leave. A very pleasant evening with long time friends.

Duner’s is always wonderful! Reliably delicious menu, excellent service and fantastic bar. Duner’s is our go-to for dining out!

Duner's was excellent, as usual. The food was very good, and the service from Lynn was excellent. The ambience was a bit less quiet than usual. Even at an early hour there were many customers there.

The 4 Steaks were not served hot. The potatoes were lukewarm. The broccoli was lukewarm with many brown florets. The four salads were delicious.

First time here. Great menu selections, food was well prepared and delicious. Service was a tad slow yet it did not bother us too much. Really nice portions served. A great new place has been found! Great food at a good value. Downside is they are so busy you must plan ahead, yet now I understand why.

The experience was very bar-like and noisy. Service was slow. The cost with tip was about $100 each. The food was good, but for that price I don’t want to feel like I’m in a bar with people yelling at each other. We won’t return on a weekend.

Always one of our favorites for years. Last two visits however we’ve experienced significant delays in getting our food from the kitchen. From ordering to main dish plates on the table was almost 1:30 minutes for our table of four . I’ll keep coming back despite this and server did her best to keep us informed and gave us free desserts. But something has changed in the kitchen and it’s impacting timeliness.
