DUNE by Laurent Tourondel, named 2022 Best Restaurant (Fort Lauderdale) by Miami New Times, is one of South Florida’s most desirable oceanfront dining experiences. Enjoy an inspiring new menu and newly designed space by the illustrious Alfredo Paredes Studio. DUNE by LT will become your new favorites, featuring unparalleled ocean views and covoted beachfront dining access.

DUNE by Laurent Tourondel is South Florida’s only celebrity chef-driven oceanfront restaurant and special event venues able to accommodate social, corporate gatherings, beachfront weddings, and other special occasions from 10 - 500 people with customized menus by Chef Laurent Tourondel in addition to oceanfront meetings and events. A private wine room is available by reservation in addition to semi-private and private spaces and dining rooms with full audio/visual and sound capabilities for seamless presentations.

I reserved a table for 9 thru open table (was directed there from Dune website) Open Table reserved a table in the bar which was then confirmed online. The day of my reservation I received a call from the restaurant stating that my reservation in the bar could not be accommodated and that I would have to come early for first come first serve seating! They eventually did get us a table, but what a mess originally. Food was okay not great for cost

We’ve dined at Dune multiple times and it’s always enjoyable. However last night our service was awful. Took almost 20 minutes to get our drinks. Appetizers and mains were just as long. Just got worse for the rest of the meal. This quality service at these prices is inexcusable.

First time at this restaurant and i lovedddd it. I ordered the Lemon rosemary organic chicken and my bf ordered the filet mignon and they were both really yummy. Our server, i forgot his name, was also really sweet.

Went to Dune for lunch. First time going and not only was the food delicious the staff was amazing. Our server Kyle went above and beyond and made us feel like he knew us for years. The view is breath taking. 10 out of 10. Definitely be back to try dinner.

Only ate for V-day so a prix fixe menu. But literally feel like I got robbed. Food sucked and service was ok, cleanliness was poor. No attention to details. Don’t go unless you like the thrill of being robbed.

Booked the Valentine’s Dinner. The food was mediocre at best, ambiance was nice, service was great, but the culinary experience was lacking for the cost of $135pp. It was publicized that there would be live music (strings) and there was none. Would not repeat.

Beautiful place, great atmosphere, service was great too. Paying almost $500 for two people was definitely overpriced for what we had. By the way, besides the valentines fixed menu, we only had one margarita and one old fashioned.

A new low in dining experience. Rude and nasty hostess. Moved us from Inside to outside without our knowledge. When we complained we were insincerely told too bad, so sad. We were seated adjacent to bar and subject to crude, vulgar bartender language including many F-bombs. Our server, Stephanie, was the lone bright spot with only decent food. Stay away. The Valentines dinner was a fraudulent experience.

I don’t kind spending $$$ for a great experience but the value was simply not there for their Valentine’s Day price fixed menu. Meal felt rushed as immediately after one course was removed, the next course was brought to the table” without checking if anything else like drinks were needed (e.g., desserts were brought before we were asked if we’d like an after dinner drink.). As a result, our entire ~$450 experience was less than one hour. Past experiences as this restaurant have been great but I cannot recommend it for holiday meals like this.
