DUNE by Laurent Tourondel is South Florida’s only celebrity chef-driven oceanfront restaurant and special event venues able to accommodate social, corporate gatherings, beachfront weddings, and other special occasions from 10 - 500 people with customized menus by Chef Laurent Tourondel in addition to oceanfront meetings and events. A private wine room is available by reservation in addition to semi-private and private spaces and dining rooms with full audio/visual and sound capabilities for seamless presentations.

    The wait was a little longer than usual, but understandable as it was a Thanksgiving special menu. Once seated our waiter was cordial, concise and very knowledgeable. The food was fantastic, the wine pairing great. An overall great Thanksgiving Supper. Thank you.

    Terrible experience, didn’t get seated until 40 minutes after reservation, then all the food was sold out after we order.

    The reservation was for 6:30 pm, we were promptly seated and the waited for 20 minutes for the waitress to arrive. We got the sparkling water promptly, ordered our meal and a further 20 minutes later we got a basket of cornbread. We got half an hour later our appetizer and were informed that one of the 3 desserts were no longer available. We finally got at 9:15 our main course and were informed that our second choice dessert was no longer available. . Three hours after we sat down we got some half melted ice cream that they dared to call Gelato. We were not offered a price reduction, not even an apology. We quickly decided that it is the last time I set foot into that overrated third class pretentious restaurant

    Went for Thanksgiving and had to wait over an hour to be seated when we have a reservation. Then they stuck us in the corner of the restaurant and no one came over to attend to us at any point after sitting down for over 15 minutes. Food was not good, cold, and they ran out of certain set menu options which were supposed to be included with the meal package. Worst experience and ruined our holiday. The restaurant did absolutely nothing to accommodate or make anything right. Terrible service and it’s too bad because this used to be a very classy and customer focused restaurant. They do not care about their customers or the experience at their restaurant.

    The food was fairly good but the service was terrible. Ruined the experience for sure. Then they added 20 percent gratuity which was NOT deserved. Felt forgotten about. Weee there for 2.5 hours for a prepared turkey dinner!

    Our server was amazing, the restaurant the kitchen the way staff the total experience was nothing less than horrible. We didn’t get our entire meal. We waited 25 minutes for a dessert that never came and this was over a $400 meal. They don’t live up to their reputation, it was a horrible experience and I will never go back. This was a holiday Thanksgiving meal and an anniversary dinner and it did nothing but disappoint .

    We had an amazing meal at Dune. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful!! Everyone should try it.

    Couple sitting next to us arguing not pleasant. Food was good. Service was good! Valet service a bit rude and uncoordinated! Overall all good.

    At $98 per person you would expect the food to be better than average. Unfortunately, it did not even rise to a rating of average. The evening started off on the wrong foot when our well-intentioned and sweet server knocked over in the entire glass of water into my lap. It was downhill from there. My friend and I had the traditional Thanksgiving dinner of roasted turkey with stuffing, mashed potatoes, and brussels sprouts, The side dishes were served family style, so you had no choice other than to eat what was placed before you. The turkey itself was extremely overcooked and as dry as cardboard. Wait. Cardboard probably would have tasted better. The rest of the meal was less than adequate. , two of the four of us did not eat a meal and returned it to the kitchen uneaten. While the ambience of the restaurant is very good, sitting outside is a bit noisy as the bar is located there. While there were tables for four that were empty, we were seated in a booth against a wall., far from the opposite side of the restaurant where the beach and ocean were. My conclusion is that while Dune is very good for dinner on regular days of the week or weekends , it’s disastrous for holiday celebrations . It was very obvious that when the chef was cooking the same meal for scores of people, things had to be prepared well in advance. Thus, the disappointment.. So, my recommendation is,to go to Dune on any day of the week or weekend, but do not plan expecting a good meal if it’s a holiday. It’s not worth your money or your time.

    It was probably a busier night than usual. The server forgot to let me know about the dessert. The amazing bartender tended to me after 45 minutes. The food was mediocre at best, however the beach front setting more than compensate for it.
