We have eaten at Duck Goose before and always enjoyed our meals, this was our first Sunday lunch and we will definitely be back for another! Amazing food. The starter of a curried chicken pasty was lovely, everything on the roast dinner was perfect and of course, the sticky toffee pudding is just brilliant - so light, not over sweet, delicious. Nice service and a quirky vibe; thanks very much!

Compared to previous visits this one was disappointing. We were sat by the door which had a very cold draft through it all evening, two items on the mains menu were not available, the waitress was quite abrupt, they forgot to bring a desert menu over and then tried to hurry us up by reminding us that the restaurant closed at 10:30pm (it was 9:40 at the time) so they didn’t think there was time for a cocktail and a desert. For a £160 bill for two people I was disappointed with the evening. The food was nice, but it’s a shame about the service

I went for the Sunday Roast which was excellent. I have a dairy intolerance and the staff were really helpful and accommodating in adjusting a couple of items. The vegetables are usually secondary to roast potatoes and the meat for me but they were the stars of the show! Excellent food and service, would recommend. I took one star off for ambiance, the upstairs dining room was nice but after seeing the dining room downstairs which looked lovely I wished I had booked there

The staff were stupendous. Ambiance was wonderful. Food gorgeous. Barista lady awesome.

The food was lovely. The service was fine. The only problem was it was so cold I ate with my coat on! So if you eat here and it is not mid summer make sure you wear plenty of layers in case you need them. Otherwise it’s a really lovely place.
