    We came for a Sunday lunch during the busy Sunday supplement market on 7th July. The weather was very unpredictable and we arrived a little early, soaking wet having been caught in a downpour. It was lovely to have our coats taken off us and to be seated at a lovely, large table. There was ample space for our pushchair with our baby, despite the upstairs dining room feeling intimate and cosy. We likened it to a lovely dining room in a friend’s house. Lovingly and thoughtfully decorated and welcoming! Beautiful ambiance and the staff were all SO friendly. Service was prompt and the food was delicious! I have coeliac disease so can’t eat wheat and the menu was clearly labelled and it was no issue to make my Sunday lunch gluten-free! The waitresses also clearly explained which sides were GF and I had my own pot of GF gravy! All 3 generations of our family thoroughly enjoyed our meal and drinks and we loved how attentive the staff were. Our four year old daughter was very relaxed and loved her special meal of veggie sausages, chips and peas. I didn’t venture downstairs but my family did (to the loos) and said the downstairs dining room was very atmospheric, cosy and would be amazing of an evening. Desserts were delicious too and the whole meal was very reasonable for fantastic quality! We will definitely be back here for another Sunday meal (and hopefully I can persuade my husband to bring me for an evening meal sometime soon)! We’d like to say a huge thank you to all of the staff and the kitchen team! Wonderful! Jodie & Family.

    Fabulous food! Lots of interesting combinations, all perfectly cooked. Nice relaxed atmosphere, very and professional service. We were staying in Leek for one night and so pleased to be able to get a table on a Friday night as it’s very popular and deservedly so

    A lovely place with very nice staff. Food was hot when it arrived at the table and cooked well. Desserts good too😊

    WOWZAAAA what a fab place. Lovely attentive staff. My friend and I ate early doors in the cellar which was beautiful, relaxing and adequately lit. The staff are just superb, a rarely in this day and age! The food too was a delight with lesser used ingredients making the options more of a speciality. Will definitely be booking again...thank you to all. Melanie Smith

    Went on steak night, absolutely delicious. No complaints whatsoever. A little expensive, so will be going again for a “special” occasion.
