Don’t eat here. The food is terrible and they don’t even have buns for the burgers!!!

Really poor experience in the restaurant here. The staff were lovely, although we were given a menu which was out of date so the food we initially chose wasn’t on offer & the wine we chose cost £4.50 more a glass than the menu said (£6 a glass to £10.50is quite a jump). But the food, oh the food was awful. Sourdough & red pepper houmus - a massive bowl of houmus with 4 burnt doorsteps of what seemed to have been fried sourdough ( it reminded me of old greasy fried bread from when I was a kid). It was pretty inedible and we left most of it. We also ordered olives, the good kind, ( we thought) Gordal olives, but they weren’t fresh, they were out of a jar & a bit too vinegary. For our mains we ordered chicken burgers with hot sauce, fries & coleslaw. The chicken & the fries were fine but once again the bread was burnt , the burger had avocado & salad in it but it was sloppy avocado & pretty awful as was the coleslaw. Once again we left half of this. I can understand that not everything is always going to be to our taste but we do expect your chef/cook to be able to produce bread that isn’t burnt. The staff were very apologetic & made reductions to our bill which was appreciated but we were staying in the hotel & had planned to eat breakfast in there the next day - we just couldn’t bring ourselves to do that in the circumstances and had to make other plans. So this bad meal had a knock on effect unfortunately.

Pizzas were excellent. Generous size and well covered. Only 4 stars because the fish and chips was disappointing. Small size, batter on the soggy side and only 4 potato wedges.

We were early diners, going to a concert later. Small menu not a problem, but….! The meat and vegan burgers were not available due to no buns. We saw two tables leave after perusing the menu. What we had was ok, schnitzel,salad plus a couple of small plates. Our waiter was brilliant.

Not bad but could be a whole lot better. Went for Sunday lunch. Portion size was excellent. Wine choice and quality if wine was good. Quality of food was about 2.5 stars. Roast potatoes were rock hard, as was Yorkshire pudding.

This place has gone steadily downhill and is now at rock bottom. A reduced menu where even 25% of its items not available! The schnitzel was a chick breast coated in corn flakes! This used to be a vibrant atmosphere and a great restaurant... clearly they have given in to all the competition and more focused on being a bar with DJ. DO NOT go here for your evening meal.

We stayed at native for the weekend and absolutely loved the bar and the general ambience. The roast however was quite expensive for what it was. The veggie roast was mashed potato in a pastry and the meat roasts that were almost 20 pounds were gristly and very stingy with the vegetables. The roast potatoes were quite underdone and we had to wait > 1hr for the food to come. I loved the ambience and setting overall...but feel like the roast could have been a lot better considering the expense.

They were out of about half the menu options so we left. The staff was very nice. The space is cool.

This a hard review. The food was good. The male waiter was good. The setting is cool (although the music is a little loud in the restaurant). The female waiting staff were outright sullen - it was like they were having a competition on who could be the most miserable and it spoilt the experience unfortunately.

Very disappointing! We went for Sunday roast and went for the roast beef. Everything was undercooked and bland. Not at all worth your time or money.
