DSRT CLUB! Another creation brought to you by the owners of RD RNNR. In developing a sister restaurant to RD RNNR, we set out to create a social club atmosphere that drew inspiration from the lore of Desert nostalgia. In our journey through the development of the name and design, we came across a true desert classic in The Desert Club. This vintage establishment was built in the late 1930’s and was closed up in the late 1980’s. With the 1940’s and 1950’s marking the major success of The Desert Club, we then envisioned a restaurant that brought back the swanky essence of those years here in the Desert.

With the intent to restore some vintage ADULT dining to the “cove”, our hope is to establish a feeling of upscale classic that is reminiscent of “nostalgic” Desert vibes. We are focused on offering a great feel in ambiance, amazing food and exceptional service all wrapped in a tight bow.

This lively and quirkily decorated restaurant in La Quinta's old town is one of the best experiences around. We have eaten there three times already and tried something different each time. The pairings of protein to sauce are creative (grilled octopus and chickpea puree? fantastic!) and on our most recent visit, when my husband loved every ingredient except one on one of the specials, the chef came to our table with a recommended substitution. I highly recommend the jambalaya and the grilled branzino. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. And best of all, the entire menu is priced reasonably. Just a wonderful evening for a couple or with friends.

Always a great experience! Overall food is above average - last night special Pasta & seafood were over spicy. Service was good but a little slow. We do love this place! So will be back!

Great lunch, a delicious small plate of seared ahi with pieces of citrus, avocado sauce. Small bowl of melon gazpacho with prosciutto, so tasty!

Dsrt Club keeps raising the bar on elevated upscale Desert dining. We are regulars and drawn back time and time again by signature dishes such as the poppyseed crusted (super fresh) albacore and the delicious mussels ‘n wine, an all-star best. Get there early if you want to try one of Chef James’s daily specials. Last night it was tuna tartare. Delicious.

The food was exquisite. There wasn’t one thing we had that we didn’t absolutely LOVE. We enjoyed the: Twice Cooked Octo Smoked Salmon Tacos Crispy Skin Branzino Ohhhhmygosh was it absolutely amazing. The octopus was unbelievably tender, the salmon tacos had the perfect amount of smoke (not over powering at all) and that Branzino was the best I’ve ever had. All the dishes were perfection. So much so I don’t think I can pick a favorite. I feel like you can’t go wrong here. Can’t wait to come back!

We were very disappointed! The pasta was bland with very watery sauce, the breaded pork was very overcooked, dry, and chewey.The noise level inside this restaurant is guaranteed to give headaches.

Was a great experience. Restaurant is very tastefully done. Hip vibe , good chill music and a nice variety of delectables and craft cocktails and moctails. Service was great . We highly recommend it and will return many times !

Great Caesar salad, which is shareable for two or three people. Bronzino fish, muscles both delicious. And our server Ervin is just the best.
