Driftwood is a coastal-inspired Bistro, serving breakfast, lunch & Evening Tapas, located in the heart of Maldon, just off the High Street.

Our focus is local produce, freshly cooked food throughout the day.

                                          Had a lovely dinner sat outside the restaurant, food was delicious, service was attentive and good. All in all an excellent experience and will defo visit again! Such a hidden gem.

                                          The owner of this business is one in a million - opened up just for my friend and I. Still were treated as special, valued customers and not rushed at all. Food was wonderful (so was the wine). Would recommend this business whole heartedly - they need our support, so when you’re thinking of an evening of Tapas with friends/family give Driftwood a try. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed!

                                          We chose the set menu and tried one of each of the tapas on the menu. All of the dishes were great (we all loved the cauliflower tapas), with decent sized portions. A relaxed setting, just off the main high street. Would definitely recommend.

                                          What a lovely find. Booked table through website for Saturday night. Staff were welcoming from the start. Great atmosphere and even though they were busy did not feel cramped. We were recommended the tapas to share for four and was plenty. All dishes were excellent. Reasonably priced. If I lived locally this would definitely be a regular place for me to visit. I hope they have all the success they deserve for trying something different in Maldon.

                                          The food was tasty and we enjoyed each plate. However portions were very small. We did the set menu and unfortunately we all left hungry. So I wouldn’t say it’s a large enough portion sizes for an evening meal.
