Drift specializes in exceptionally sourced and prepared seafood which reflects the rich culinary traditions of our region. We have created a unique and intimate atmosphere as well as a carefully curated beverage program. We hope you enjoy every aspect of your dining experience with Drift.

Drift brings to Rehoboth Beach a premier raw bar and seafood restaurant in an elevated dining environment. Our daily menu varies as we focus on sourcing only the freshest local and seasonal ingredients. We communicate directly with our network of providers to ensure only the best ingredients are selected. We believe the geography of Rehoboth Beach provides an opportunity to showcase the truly unique and diverse seafood and produce found in our area.

    The staff was incredibly professional; didn’t rush us to order or finish. The food was excellent, and it’s a comfortable atmosphere to sit and have conversation. It’s really great to have a restaurant that understands quality service and food. Thank you!

    Amazing food and cocktails ! Charred cabbage, heirloom carrot panzanella, focaccia, swordfish schnitzel, and the most incredible lobster French toast #HolyMoly it was fabulous!! Savannah was an attentive and delightful server. Drift is our favorite Rehoboth Beach restaurant.

    Wanted an earlier reservation, but according to OT, the only time available was 8:00, which we took. Got there and there was only one other table occupied, and it was clear that staff wanted to go home...which I completely understand. We've had great meals here before, but last night was a "miss". Apps were good, but dinners (two coconut shrimps and one swordfish) were both very overcooked. Hoping just an "off night" - or maybe just because we were obviously on the later side of when people eat here...

    I dined here for the Feast of the Seven Fishes: 6 seafood dishes plus dessert. Not all the dishes were successful, but I applaud the chef’s originality. IMO, the exceptional dishes were: 1. The first one, oysters with a champagne toast. What was exceptional was the hint of ginger. 2. My second favorite, the second one with thinly sliced raw baby octopus and white truffles with a blood orange vinaigrette. 3. My favorite, the sixth course, olive oil poached catfish with caviar. The catfish was so so so good! One It was pillowy soft and delicious. Its sweetness and richness was nicely offset by the arugula salad. 4. The seafood soup. Not overly rich and the mussels, cockles and shrimp were perfectly cooked. The less successful dishes for me were: 1. The fried baccalia and artichokes. I found the fish overcooked and way too salty. 2. The squid ink spaghettini. The pasta was bland and while the uni butter and chili emulsion were excellent, there wasn’t enough of them. Dessert was average. Not too sweet. My biggest complaint was the mousse which was too hard and thick. Service was excellent and I very much appreciated how each dish was described to us.

    Every thing was wonderful, a true feast of 7 fishes. A must of an annual tradition.
