Drift specializes in exceptionally sourced and prepared seafood which reflects the rich culinary traditions of our region. We have created a unique and intimate atmosphere as well as a carefully curated beverage program. We hope you enjoy every aspect of your dining experience with Drift.

Drift brings to Rehoboth Beach a premier raw bar and seafood restaurant in an elevated dining environment. Our daily menu varies as we focus on sourcing only the freshest local and seasonal ingredients. We communicate directly with our network of providers to ensure only the best ingredients are selected.     I dined here for the Feast of the Seven Fishes: 6 seafood dishes plus dessert. Not all the dishes were successful, but I applaud the chef’s originality. IMO, the exceptional dishes were: 1. The first one, oysters with a champagne toast. What was exceptional was the hint of ginger. 2. My second favorite, the second one with thinly sliced raw baby octopus and white truffles with a blood orange vinaigrette. 3. My favorite, the sixth course, olive oil poached catfish with caviar. The catfish was so so so good! One It was pillowy soft and delicious. Its sweetness and richness was nicely offset by the arugula salad. 4. The seafood soup. Not overly rich and the mussels, cockles and shrimp were perfectly cooked. The less successful dishes for me were: 1. The fried baccalia and artichokes. I found the fish overcooked and way too salty. 2. The squid ink spaghettini. The pasta was bland and while the uni butter and chili emulsion were excellent, there wasn’t enough of them. Dessert was average. Not too sweet. My biggest complaint was the mousse which was too hard and thick. Service was excellent and I very much appreciated how each dish was described to us.

    Every thing was wonderful, a true feast of 7 fishes. A must of an annual tradition.

    Drift provides an exquisite dining experience! For my 36 year old son, it was the unrivaled best dining experience of his life, really! Savannah was an attentive, delightful server. Birkan, the general manager and host, greeted us with warmth. The fried oysters and lobster French toast were superb! All in all, Drift was great.

    Delicious food, excellent service and very thoughtful recognition of our anniversary with a card from staff and complimentary prosecco. It was a lovely evening.

    Appetizers were fantastic. The steak was just ok. Nothing special but the mushrooms with it were the bomb. The major highlight was the drinks. I had a pear martini of sorts and it was amazing. Everyone got something different and they were all 10’s.

    The tasting menu on Sunday night was an incredible deal and the food was superb. Maddie, our server was as always attentive without being overbearing. The restaurant can be noisy when packed, but it was quieter on a Sunday evening.
