Outstanding!My husband and I dined at Drift last night and I cannot say enough good things about this beautiful restaurant. To start, I was looking for something “romantic” if you will. We live in the Montclair area, and we go to the same places every week, so I wanted something different. Didn’t feel like heading into the city, the next best is Weehawken. Drift came up, I took a look at them menu, the restaurant and said this looks like what we need. My husband was super impressed by the location and the staff the minute we walked in the door. We were sat immediately at a table in the window with a beautiful view of the skyline. Our waitress Angela was very attentive and knowledgeable. We stared with the grilled prawns and a sushi roll. Both fantastic. The cocktails also amazing. Next I had the coffee rubbed skirt steak and my husband had the pasta with the pork ragu. Phenomenal! We ordered a bottle of wine, which the sommelier brought and also very nice. He informed us this was only night 3 of being open! We couldn’t believe it. The restaurant is so put together we would have never guessed it. He offered to buy us after dinner drinks. We finished, and went to the bar, which is beautiful, and ordered a round. After about 15 minutes our friend found us, and indeed kept his word and took care of our drinks. We spoke in pleasant conversation for about 25 minutes about the food, family and the restaurant. All in all it was such an enjoyable evening. We will be back very soon for the food and the company.

I’ve been waiting for Drift to open for a long while now. Took a risk and made a reservation for their first Saturday night, party of 3. It was well worth the wait! Overall - fantastic. Sophisticated beautifully designed space, background music playing was mid tempo lounge at a volume that was just right, knowledgeable friendly staff (Jose from Longbranch NJ was our waiter - he was terrific), delicious food and drinks - great value for the price. Portion sizes are ample, food flavor was just right, timing of the courses was exactly how it should be, wine prices and pour was surprisingly better than expected. Run - don’t walk - it’s a wonderful night out!

My husband and I had a fantastic time at Drift last night. Our server, Jose, was so gracious and attentive! The food was superb, I forgot to get pictures of everything cause it was so yummy. We ordered the Octopus, croquettes, skirt steak, Brussel sprouts, halibut and the banana soufflé for dessert. It was well spaced out for each course. The atmosphere is very chill and not uppity at all! Highlights: Octopus: not the biggest fan of beans but it was made so well. The roasted chorizo is a great balance with the well cooked octopus Brussel sprouts: roasted and seasoned so well!!! A great side to get!!! Banana Soufflé: it does take 25 min to make but soooo worth it. Very light and airy and a delicious banana sauce We definitely will be returning! Everything was delicious!

Drift opened less than four days when we dined and they clearly have their act together. We were greeted warmly and enjoyed the ambience from that moment on. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly. The beverage offerings are extensive. Some menu items were missing because of the "recent" opening, but our food was excellent. Management stopped by to welcome us which is always a nice touch. Good vibes! We'll be back.

We were very excited for Drift coming to the neighborhood. The place is absolutely beautiful and the views very nice. I thought the food was good but the portions too small. I actually left a little hungry. The staff was attentive and well trained. I do feel it might be good to put some hamburgers or sandwiches on the menu for quick easy eating and more filling options. I would definitely come back and try some other dishes, but hope they make some tweaks in the coming months. I can’t form a complete opinion as we only tried a handful of dishes. It’s definitely a place I will try again.

Last night my husband and I had the most delicious meal of our lives at Drift Restaurant⭐️ I can't forget the excitement of having such a wonderful and delicious dinner out of all the restaurants in the world. I was also deeply moved by the wonderful and warm service. I want to go and eat at Drift every day🩷🎉🎉🎉😃🩷⭐️

The service and food were exceptional and the ambience was amazing. The views of the Hudson and the NYC skyline from the restaurant are unparalleled. It is a spacious and beautiful setting for fine dining.
