Located on Lake Wylie in the newly developed McLean South Shore, Drift on Lake Wylie is a chef-inspired lakeside chophouse. At the forefront of the Lake Wylie dining scene, our food is simple and seasonal—home to prime cuts of beef, local seafood, and homemade pasta. Whether you join us for dinner, pop by the bustling bar for a quick bite, or book one of our private dining rooms for a special dinner or cocktail party, we look forward to serving you soon.

For New Year's Eve, our culinary team has created a special pre-fixe menu with the holiday's staple dishes. We will be exclusively serving the pre-set menu on this day, priced at $100++ per person. We will be seating reservations up to 8 guests this day. A credit card hold will be required for your reservation; payment is needed at the conclusion of your meal. It's time for our 4th Lobster Night, a dinner a part of our Dockside Dinner Series! Our Corporate Chef, Rogger Torres, has curated an incredible 5-course menu that we know you'll love! *The menu is priced at $100++, with all beverage sold separately. Automatic service fees and tax are separate from the menu price. Parties of 8 or more are welcome, so bring your friends and family! Reservations are required for this special event.

Drift is a beautiful restaurant! Great ambiance with friendly staff. Our food was great overall but 16 oz steak (cooked perfectly ) we shared was quite fatty for the $48 price. We will return!

We like Drift and keep coming back for special occasions. Food is fabulous, very tastefully prepared and delicious. I guess I got a little spoiled last year when they gave us a glass of bubbly to celebrate our anniversary and dessert as a surprise - none of that happened this time around. It busted my bubble a bit.

First time at Drift and we loved it! The food was plenfiful, well-prepared and delicious! Megan our waitress gave a perfect tour of the menu, highlighting specials, and the things that chef likes and does well. The seafood was delicious, great wine list, and service very attentive! We will put this on our special occasion list and can’t wait until the weather is warmer!

I didn’t have a great first food experience and decided to try the Christmas Eve menu. First, my dad loves his prime rib and cheesecake. I thought the cake was dry. We loved the tempura cauliflower! My husband and I were disappointed with the crab on the lobster tail, the texture was like play doh and didn’t taste like crab meat at all. While I’m glad I tried it again, I don’t think I’ll take the 45 min drive anymore.

We went here for Christmas Eve dinner. The place was quite predictably busy, so we'd wait a bit to be seated. Besides that everything was as expected from fine restaurant. Service was attentive and fast and meal was exceptionally good. Mightily obliged!

We could only order from the Christmas Eve Prix Fixe menu. There were good choices. I have ordered from their regular menu and prefer that option better, but for what it was, this was good.

Delicious Christmas Eve dinner. Great selection and such a reasonable price. Restaurant is upscale and right on the lake. Staff were very pleasant and efficient.

The experience at Drift was outstanding from beginning to end. The restaurant atmosphere was very nice. Our server Meagan was excellent. She was so good at directing us to menu items that we thoroughly enjoyed. I would definitely recommend Drift for anyone looking for a nice fine dining experience.
