Welcome to Drift 82 where the sea is our best friend and the sun always shines on the good side of day. Drift 82 is located on the South Shore of Long Island in the burgeoning town of Patchogue right on the Patchogue river which leads to the mouth of The Great South Bay. Ferries from Fire Island's Davis Park pull in only steps away from Drift 82's doors.

The service was extremely personable. Danielle had a strong command of the menu and was an absolute delight to have as our server. The food portions and preparations were perfect. Well priced for the craftsmanship that came in every dish. We will be back!!!

I love this restaurant! Everything on the menu is GREAT! It seems like they always have live music in the summer. There is a summertime vibe every day with outdoor seating and a fun bar. I love their steaks and seafood. Their vegetables and salads are delicious too. They also make really good coffee. Definitely go!

Fantastic outdoor dinning experience! Our server was very attentive, food and wine also very good. Fun band playing by the water as the sun set. A perfect night!

Always a fabulous dinner and a great time at Drift 82. This is definitely one of the best places on Long Island to be in the summer. Their full menu is amazing! Too many things to choose from and everything is delicious. Live music on the weekends makes it a place to be. Staff is great!

I recently had a disappointing experience at Drift 82. My three girlfriends and I had reservations for a high-top table inside. However, we were seated at a regular table against an open window/door. This caused our place settings and menus to blow everywhere due to the wind. When we asked if the door could be closed, we were told no because the band was playing outside on the gravel. Eventually, they moved us to the high-top table we had originally requested. Later, another party in the same area requested to have the door closed, and their request was granted, which was frustrating as it had not been done for us. Before that, a gust of wind had flipped up the tablecloth on a neighboring table, sending a glass flying and smashing onto the floor. Our waitress took our order, but after an hour and 20 minutes passed with no food, we asked about our order. One of our friends went to the restroom and overheard the staff mocking us and mentioning that our waitress had never put our order in. We requested to speak to the manager, only to find out that the manager had left the premises. Thankfully, they returned and apologized, and the manager was kind and apologetic, eventually comping our meal. Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing, marred by poor service, inconsistent treatment, and an uncomfortable dining environment.
