5 of us for Sunday Brunch Spinach dip with baguettes was delicious All our entrees were tasty ; ham and cheese croissant, huevos rancheros, crab cake sandwich and funnel cake waffle Only thing was the waffle came about 12 minutes after the rest of our food :(

Very nice place. Open and quiet - great place to host a few business colleagues for a dinner. Wait staff was top-notch. They knew the menu, helped with wine selection and were on top of things. Food came out promptly and exactly as ordered. Will definitely be visiting again when my travels bring me though town.

The menu has something for everyone. The crabcake was excellent. And it was a perfect day for lunch on the porch.

We went during restaurant week. The Ceasar salad, NY steak, cheesecake and chocolate torte were delicious although the steak was a bit fatty. The herb chicken was cooked unevenly, one side was fine but the other side was overdone so it was dry. Atmosphere and service were wonderful

It is expensive becasue it is a steak house.. so we did the FF resturant week to take advantage of getting a steak meal for $40. The steak was pretty good and cooked perfectly, problaby even better if you orderd one of their main regular steaks. Service was excellent given how busy they were. Try the grilled Ceasar salad - it's very good there and for many ppl in my group it was a new dining experiece.

I had the pleasure of dining at Draper's Steak and Seafood during Fairfax Restaurant Week, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The three-course meal they offered was a true highlight, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to quality and flavor. Both salads were fresh and delicious, setting the stage perfectly for what was to come. The chicken dish was a standout, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor, clearly a testament to the chef's skill and attention to detail. To cap off the meal, the key lime pie was simply divine—tasting homemade with just the right balance of tartness and sweetness. What truly made the evening memorable was the service. The staff at Draper's were incredibly attentive, ensuring our needs were met without ever being overbearing. Their professionalism and warmth made us feel welcome and well-cared-for throughout the meal. I highly recommend Draper's Steak and Seafood to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. I’m already looking forward to my next visit and can’t wait to see what new delights they’ll have in store.

Went for restaurant week on a Wednesday night. Much to our surprise, Wednesdays are half price bottle of wine night ($100 and under)! Overall the food was great, the medium rare steak was more of a medium well. Crab cakes were outstanding. Service was excellent as well. Will definitely recommend Drapers.

We started with sautéed calamari; which was inedible except by me as I was the only one who could tolerate Thai level spiciness. The description says served with Anaheim chilis, but it didn’t say doused with so much chili paste that you will be able to see sound. A friend had the mussel dish and enjoyed it; was great dipping bread in the sauce which we all did. My 12oz NY strip was cooked perfectly to R/MR, however it was completely unseasoned and thus tasted like nothing. Got some salt and pepper and it was much better (though seasoning while cooking would’ve been superior). Brussel sprouts were woody but ok. The roasted chicken was enjoyed and I forgot the fourth dish. Service was vg, just that the food fell flat for what it could’ve been. Will likely give them another try.

As always, dinner at Draper's is a delight. Friendly, helpful staff, delicious food, and reasonable prices keep us coming back. Draper's is a Fairfax City gem!
