Draper Purveying Company is downtown Greenville's newest restaurant concept and weekend entertainment destination location! Now open under the direction of Executive Chef Patrick Phillips, with a menu designed to satisfy a wide range of tastes, Draper is serving up contemporary American style comfort food with a unique twist for dinner, lunch, brunch and a special happy hour and late night bites menu. Specialty shared plates include crispy confit chicken wings, warm burrata with cherry tomatoes and garlic confit, coffee-rubbed tenderloin. Larger dinner plates include a special featured version of shrimp and grits, roasted salmon with pimento cheese risotto and lemon beurre blanc and chicken-fried chicken. Also serving lunch and brunch on weekends, unique offerings will include salads and a variety of build-your-own bowls, in addition to classic brunch staples like egg white omelets and biscuits benedict. Our bar menu boasts 16 beer taps and eight craft cocktail and wines on tap.

This was our first visit to Draper. The interior is very nice, but as soon as we walked in the live music was wayyy too loud. We were sat quickly it wasn't too packed. We waited about 10 minutes for drinks so we did not start out great. There wasn't a brunch drinks menu so we had to ask about the drinks without knowing how much they were. We both ordered spicy bloody marys. Maybe 6 or 7 minutes later we got them. The perfect spicy bloody mary isn't too spicy, everyone has different spice levels. These things were atomic! I'd never serve one this spicy. It had diced jalapenos and slice. First I'd never put diced jalapeno in a drink it constantly got stuck in the straw. Anyway, I ended up ordering a regular bloody mary, it still wasn't great. Whatever mix they use is not the best. I ordered the crab cake eggs bene. The Hollandaise is usually my favorite part. This one was so over emulsified it was like whipped cream consistency. It had no flavor at all, very bland. I got an extra side of it beforehand. It was maybe half a tablespoon and I was charged $3 for it. The crab cake was good but thin, not enough for $21. This is the first time in awhile we had to add a ton of salt and pepper onto our food. We probably won't be returning.

Good food and drinks, loved the ambiance! The service was quick and attentive. Will be back again for sure.

Everything was perfect. The food was was excellent. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations. We will be back!

The food and service were both excellent. The beer menu was also satisfactory. Our server was very attentive to our needs. I am looking forward to trying the dinner and wine menu on our next visit.

Went for birthday brunch. Service from Joshua and Chante was great. Wasn't crowded at all. The drinks were good. My pancakes and chicken were yummy. The pancakes were huge and fluffy. Fried green tomatoes were good but needed a smidge more salt. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Forgot to get the skillet cookie sundae. Will be going back for that lol

The chopped salads were a bowl of romaine, with a few isolated things thrown on top-tasteless-not what I’d consider a chopped salad which are actually chopped and mixed. The shrimp & grits, Brussels sprouts, and risotto were all over salted. Although we sent items back, the manager never came over to talk with us! When we asked our server about a couple of the mains, she said she didn’t know because she couldn’t afford to eat the mains. This is NOT a foodie restaurant-we will not go back!

Wow! We were excited to try this new place and were not disappointed. The food was fantastic, drinks were inventive and enjoyable, great service, great atmosphere. We will definitely be back. A great new find.

We started out with yummy cocktails. Appetizer was the burrata - so delicious. Dinner was the filet mignon at perfect temperature paired with the most amazing sauce, garlic green beans and the whipped potatoes to die for. Service was excellent and atmosphere lovely. A new gem for Greenville!
