The staff was welcoming and service was great. The space itself is beautiful. The upstairs is quiet and intimate feeling. The downstairs is quite noisy due to the proximity of the kitchen (you can hear the dishes being washed while sitting at the bar). Sadly, we were disappointed with our steaks. While they were seasoned well, they were over cooked. We ordered medium rare and got medium well. Barely any pink in my steak. Pretty disappointing for a $54 steak. With a few tweaks, these issues could be easily remedied.

Fell a little short of “fine dining” for me. My shrimp cocktail was not good. The shrimp was over cooked and dry. They looked like they had been stored in the cooler for a While. My short rib mushroom ravioli was delicious. My husband’s seafood soup was not good at all; however, his filet was fabulous! We shared the key lime pie, but couldn’t eat it as it had a plastic aftertaste. Wine and coffee were delicious! Service was excellent! As you can see, quality was inconsistent for me. Not the fine dining I am accustomed to and unlikely we will return.

This was our 3rd time giving Draper’s a chance. We have now decided this is not the place for us. Ordered 2 steaks. One 85$ medium well and filet well done. The 85$ steak came out completely rare. The waitress did not check in after rhe food was served for about 10 minutes. We had to wait and wait to get her attention before being able to send it back. Which meant one person was completely done while the other sat and waited. Steaks were not tender or seasoned. For the price of the food we anticipate top service and high quality steaks. We gave three chances and we will not return. Extremely disappointed.

The building and atmosphere is fantastic. Unfortunately we must have been there on an off night. Steaks were well done (no pink) when we actually ordered med rare and medium steaks. The error was said to be a food runner grabbing the wrong steaks but I doubt that in a steak house that all five cuts were ordered well done at any table..LOL They did do us right by remaking the steak, but it kind of ruins the temperature of the sides and then some people eating others not… kind of derails the dinner vibe. We had a Great waitress Fatima. Hopefully this is one off because otherwise Draper Brother’s has everything else working for it.

The appetizers were fantastic. Desert was delightful (and plentiful). The main course, salmon, was underwhelming. We are pescatarians and frequently eat salmon - at least twice weekly. This dish was plain - like something I might prepare at home if I was in a hurry with no time to season it or anything.

Highly recommend Drapers for any occasion, the decor is modern and sophisticated, yet has feels of a very traditional steakhouse. Lamb Lollipops: 10/10, incredible value for the amount and quality of meat Meatball: great for large groups you get FIVE huge meatballs I think it’s the best value item on the menu Short Rib Mushroom Ravioli: Absolutely impecable, the pasta is homemade and it tastes like it! Draper Cut: luxurious filet with amazing extra flavor from the bone, perfrct portion size as well My favorite sides were the asparagus and Yukon mash, best mashed potatoes I’ve ever had! The food always comes out hot.
