Some of the food was cold and the service was not good. Mains came out sides were forgotten. Drinks were not filled timely

Had dinner with a group of 9, while the food was good and server was nice, our orders were messed up and not served together. One main course was not brought out at all and another the wrong one was brought out so it took another 20 minutes longer for 2 of us to eat which meant we were eating while everybody else had been done for a bit. The rest of the main courses came out 5 minutes apart from each other which meant everybody essentially ate separately. I was surprised that nobody from management came to apologize for the mistakes or offer something to make up for it. Not what you would expect from a restaurant with these kinds of prices, ultimately one is paying not just for the food but for an elevated service experience. Because we were a group of 9 they still charged 20% service charge which certainly did not feel deserved in this case.

Had seven in our party. The steaks and pork chop were overcooked from what was ordered. Unfortunately, that is a way to ruin a pretty expensive meal. We ended up there because they had a reservation available for that time. I think we found out why.

I would consider this a mediocre experience. The highlight was the chop salad. The drinks were good as well. The portion sizes are reasonable but not enough to share. Caesar salad was bland. The frutti de mar was way too a dente and pretty bland as well. Key lime pie was unbalanced without enough key lime. Unless you are ordering steak, which was quite tasty, I would choose a different restaurant. I understand why at 7 PM on a Saturday night it was pretty dead. For the price, the food was lack luster. We won’t go back.

We took 3 very hungry collegiate baseball players to get a steak! They all had HUGE smiles when our food arrived! They all said it was the best meal they have had in Madison!

Came for restaurant week experience. Steak was fantastic! cocktails were very good. Apps and desserts were average. Formal steak house vibe and service was great.

Excellent experience from start to finish. Unique cocktail options and dinner and desserts were superb. We went during Madison Restaurant Week and we’ll be back!

The food came to us warm not even hot enough to melt the garlic butter we ordered but warm enough to eat. Food tasted great except one or diners thought the filet was overdone and tough. He should have sent it back. Drinks great, presentations great, deserts great, service was good. You need to add bread or rolls to your menu.
