First time here and will definitely go back. Great vibe. Food and service were both excellent.

This restaurant is very much old Hollywood with some classic decor, a lively vibe, a singer singing a variety of classic songs, and a dining room with all booth seating. The menu has some interesting selections from fish to steak prepared in different ways than you typically see. The drink menu has some tasty elixirs and the desserts won’t disappoint.

I absolutely loved our dinner here. I booked it for my birthday and it was exactly what I was looking for. The ambience is perfect, the decor is stunning, the food was excellent and the staff were incredible. Officially my new favourite restaurant in Dallas.

My husband and I attended Drakes for our anniversary and it was such a great experience. The food, drinks and service was amazing. We will be returning

We had a reservation for 8:00 PM. We a few minutes early and had to wait about 5 minutes before being seated due to a hostess not being present upon our arrival to check us in. We weren’t seated until 8:02. Two other parties (1 was seated 3 minutes before us and the other 4 minutes after us). Both parties received waters before my table and their drink orders were taken as well before mine. We did not have someone pour our waters and approach our table until 8:13 PM and he took our drink orders and gave them to the bar. The gentleman wasn’t even our waiter and saw that we had been sitting at our table for a while and noticed that no one came to help us. Keep in mind that it was not busy at all when we went. I am not sure what the issue was with this but I was very displeased by this first impression being made by the restaurant staff and this establishment. I have been here more than once before and enjoyed the food and service so much that I highly recommended this establishment to friends and family, and it was ranked high on my list of places to go. This experience however, was a polar opposite of my initial experience and I had a potential business client I invited to accompany me, (which was their first time there), and I was utterly embarrassed and disappointed by the lack of customer service and overall experience. After we got our waters, another waiter walked by our table and took our wine glasses away assuming that we’re weren’t drinking. Did not ask before before doing this either. Our waiter (Jorge) did not get to our table to take our food order until 8:20. He brought our drinks from the bar. Had the gentlemen who initially poured our waters and took our drink orders not told me the waiter’s name, I would not have known who to ask for. Jorge also did not apologize for the wait or introduce himself upon approaching our table, so I was left to assume that he was Jorge and he was our waiter. The food was great but service was not. Iffy about returning.
