The Sipping Room is the latest addition to the renowned Drake & Morgan bar group, setting up shop in London's busy Canary Wharf. Promising a medley of seasonal dishes and quirky cocktails, the venue is based near West India Quay so is the perfect waterside location and will look to cater for whatever mood you might find yourself in. The stylish new space caters for local workers and visitors alike for breakfast, brunch, lunch, drinks and dinner. There’ll be mixology classes on offer as well as a spacious alfresco space to enjoy. Open 7 days a week, the new addition to the Drake & Morgan family will provide an everyday escape along with a seasonally inspired drinks and food menu.

We had a business dinner - it was not a good place for it. Very loud, the service was slow and we definitely were forgotten by the waitress a few times... food was average. Not bad, not excellent either.

Went here for Mother’s Day was perfect, perfect balance of high quality and casual. Only part that would of improved the experience is if some of the servers were more attentive to either their specific area or all areas; it was a challenge to get their attention at times and long waits between courses. Otherwise food was delicious, great selection will definitely be returning

Pretty average. there were old forks and knives on the floor where we sat. Staff was not very attentive. Food was ok. Nothing done about a special occasion.

Waitress not knowledgeable on what frenchfries are... however... that said food was good and staff very friendly. Quiet at lunchtime.

Lovely location and ambience, exceptional food and food prices. Most of the staff are extremely friendly. This time around we had some very rude guys who would often ignore our table despite being called over, and talk very bluntly. It’s a shame because despite this, the overall experience here is incredible.

Some of the worst service I’ve ever experienced. The staff were perfectly pleasant but the food took far too long to arrive. We were waiting over 75 minutes between starter and main courses, as were at least 3 other tables around us. It appeared that the kitchen had totally lost control of the orders. We left after two courses and went for dessert elsewhere.

The place looks looking and a choice of a comfortable sofa chair or proper table for lunch. The decor is beautiful. Enjoyed a cocktail from an extensive menu and the beef and chicken Sunday roasts were lovely. Generous portions, hot and tasty. Quite reasonable as well. Service was great

Lovely food venue music and ambience Service was a little slow at the beginning (not sure why eg gave us food but no cutlery or serviettes to eat ribs !!) ribs were lovely so will overlook
