Dragon Inn Club is the most secret hideaway venue featuring ancient dark wood, bamboo, authentic ornaments and décor, recreating the voyage of the famous Silk Road.

The open kitchen on the ground floor is a casual dining area, where you can pop in for our signature dim sum basket, Sichuan noodles or street market style small plates. On the lower ground floor, diners can enjoy a drink at our cocktail bar and choose to eat at either the ‘Dragon Room’ or in the hot pot ‘Temple Room’. For something more intimate, there’s a Private Dining Suite for groups and eight two-seated Private Caves along the ‘Silk Passage’ to choose, individually named. The cocktail bar offers an unique variety of signature drinks showcasing the Dragon Inn Club experience. But while the food might be a modern take on Sichuan cooking, the décor, which features antique furniture and accessories imported from China, makes you feel like you have stepped into 8th century China.

The food here very authentic and delicious we tried a lot of different specialties and a few American dishes that we know from home and service was very friendly and fast we loved everything we got.

We were a party of 4 and it is our last night in London. 2 of us ordered the half duck to share and another dish for the main. The other 2 people ordered 2 dishes plus rice. Our duck arrived within 15 minutes (chewy skin and dry meat) with the usual accompaniments. Our guests waited another 20 minutes before asking about their order. The server said she would check. Another 20 minutes goes by before she returns to tell us that the chef was TOO BUSY with hotpot orders and didnt have time to prepare the rest of our meal!! While apologetic,she couldnt even tell us how much longer it would be. Half hour? An hour? She offered no timeline. We arrived at 6:30 and it is now 7:45. We did notice several delivery guys enter and leave, so I suspect the chef was a a bit overwhelmed but this is unacceptable. We asked for the check and she removed the service charge but that was it. We paid the bill for a mediocre duck and went back to the hotel for a meal. A very disappointing last evening in London and the absolute worst service I have ever experienced. I do find that I can rely on restaurants listed on Open Tables to be of a higher standard than other booking sites, but Dragon Inn Club does not meet that standard.

We thoroughly enjoyed the hot pot experience. The ventilation was effective, preventing any food odours from clinging to our clothes when doing the hotpot. The food portions were generous and well-prepared. The rice and noodles were equally delightful. Price is very reasonable.

We had a bunch of suitcases in our group that staff kindly offered to store out of the way for us. Hotpot was great and every single staff member was fantastic and kind. Also great seating and good atmosphere
