Dr Mauve is a casual Bar and Lounge located in the heart of Bright, providing an Asian fusion ‘share or not to share’ eating concept as the focus of our offering. We aim to bring young and not so together in a classy shared space, with intimate nooks to hide away and open spaces to be on display. Delicious Asian food, generous amounts in the share dishes. Make sure you go here hungry because you will leave feeling very satisfied.

vegans rejoice, so many tasty options! the knowledgeable & attentive staff let u know everything is cooked in the same oil, so heads up if that’s not ur thing. 2 of us shared 6 items: 2 starters, 3 sides, 1 desert + a bottle of wine for $130 & we took about a side worth home! unreal value for money! relaxed, moody vibe in a modern space ~ steady saturday night but never felt noisy or chaotic. cauliflower, dumplings, buns & parfait all up there!

Food was alright . Fried rice was shockingly bad . Service and staff were great . We had a good time .

Ambience spoilt by temperature. It was vey cold due to wood heater out of action and air conditioner malfunction.

Amazing meal! We had a round of cocktails, all phenomenal - particularly the padan colada! Lovely share meals. Was a Sunday night so not overly busy. Couldn’t believe how quickly the meals came out, so great when travelling with kids! Only thing that would have improved the night was if the fire was on!

What an experience- the food was out of this world - the Pina colada cocktail was made differently and is the best Pina Colada I’ve ever had and I’ve had a few! We had spring rolls, crispy calamari and pork and mussel stirfry - far out the food just melted in my mouth. I’m going back tonight for another Pina Colada!

The food was really tasty as well as good value for money. Staff were all friendly and bubbly as well as efficient with clearly our table and bringing our food and drinks out. Would recommend and go again

We thoroughly enjoyed dining at Dr Mauve. Both food and drinks were reasonably priced. The cocktails were excellent and the food, mouth-watering. Highly recommended but bookings are essential.
