                                  Food was great however they didn’t accommodate when I had to replace the rice and get vegetables instead I only received the amount of veggies that would have come with original order. Previous week I received the an extra vegetables when I needed to eliminate the rice so consistency is different depending on who is working in the kitchen that day. The veggies this time were sparing. This was for the blackened salmon. It happened for both my daughter and my meal. When asked they told us we would need to spend more to get the additional veggies to replace the rice. That didn’t happen the week before.

                                  Perfect lunch indoors with my adult daughter. Great food. Excellent service. My daughter ordered mussels and they were fantastic - often tricky to do right. We will be back.

                                  First time at Downtown Bistro and I will definitely be back! Our server Cynda was fabulous! Food was to die for. Ordered bruschetta, truffle fries and both mussel dishes. Too full for dessert but maybe next time we return.

                                  Downtown Bistro is one of my favourite Burlington Restaurants. Unfortunately, because I use a walker , I can’t get up the stairs, so chose to reserve on the patio, which is lovely…..except it was terribly hot there today! My friend and I could not enjoy our visit due to the extreme heat. The food and service were excellent!
