I had the 6 oz petite filet. It was cooked to order, but I had trouble cutting the steak for 2 reasons: the steak was a bit tough (for a filet, which is usually very tender) and the steak knife provided was too dull. I actually had to ask my husband to cut the filet for me. I could have asked for another knife, but chances are they are all too dull. I recommend they get new knives or sharpen the ones they have. Hubs had duck and bison sausage and gave it 4 out of 5 stars. Table side Caesar salad was good as was my caprese salad. Service and atmosphere was great. We will be going back! (but I might bring my own knife :).

Absolutely loved this restaurant. We’re from out of state and not familiar with this area and we were so impressed by the atmosphere, service, and food. Gabe and Christian are amazing ambassadors and hosts. Lovely experience. Thank you.

We had a great meal ... the steaks were excellent, as promised. Two of us had strip steaks and I had a filet mignon. All cooked to perfection. The scallops were just okay, nothing to get excited about. The caesar salad is made in the traditional way, table side (which is fun to watch) and was delicious. Tasty but lightly dressed, the salad was perfection. To end the night we shared bananas foster and pecan pie. Yum! Will definitely be returning.

The ambiance here is always nice with beautiful decorations and an historic building. The service is also very good to excellent. However, the food, itself, left a little to be desired. None of it was bad and it was perfectly tasty and filling. I very much miss the old days of the Double Eagle brunches, though. Prior to COVID, the Sunday brunch buffets were legendary and something well worth the drive up from El Paso. Even after the buffets became more scarce, the brunch menu was still delicious and different than elsewhere. This last experience was not either of those. The selections were much more traditional and "ordinary" in my opinion. They lacked any major pizzazz. If you are in Mesilla, I definitely recommend a trip here, if only for the bar (still excellent) and to view the building. I do not necessarily think it is worth a trip for the sole purpose of the meal. BRING BACK the BUFFET!!!

We try to eat here at least once a month. Every dinner we have had has been first rate. Service is always attentive and the overall ambiance is really perfect for dining and conversation.

Jaden is an awesome waiter (and bartender!). Very attentive and engaged. The onion rings are epic. Love the red chile escargot and the tableside Caesar is so delicious. The seabass flavor was very good but the portion size for $50 was appallingly small and it was terribly overcooked. They need to fix this and it will be perfect.
