When you claim that you’re adding a signature steakhouse experience, every detail has to be considered to transform you from the stresses of business and life.

The décor is modern, but not pretentious. The ambiance is sophisticated and multisensory, yet comfortable. The staff is educated, but not showy. The uniforms are unique, but classically tasteful.

Like the restaurant itself, the menu departs from a classic steakhouse without chasing away traditionalists. Categories range from classic steaks and chops to seafood – including lobster tail.

We said robust, right? Double Cut literally means so large that your jaw hits the table. Larger portions, tons of ambiance. There’s the dinner bell. Where’s that steak knife?

Unfortunately this experience was beyond subpar. When we got to our table there was trash and prior guests napkins and food all over the floor. I asked our hostess for someone to sweep and she said they would (they didn’t). Then when we got our food — which took longer than expected - the steaks were not cooked properly. Our waitress and person who brought out the steaks never even did the typical “cut into your steaks and let me know if it’s to your temperature”. We sat for 10 mins or so waiting for our waitress to reappear to tell her the steak was overcooked. They offered a new steak but at their pace we didn’t have time to wait for another steak. For the price of steak and the type of ambiance this place is supposed to offer - I was disappointed. I do NOT recommend this restaurant to others at Kalahari.

Amazing service and amazing food! We had a great time celebrating our anniversary here. Our server was great, very knowledgeable on the menu and provided great recommendations.

Sea bass was awesome. Steak was overcooked on the outside making it too dry. Crab cake portion super tiny.

We dined at Double Cut Steakhouse last night, and unfortunately, the experience was underwhelming, especially considering the price point. After a long day at Kalahari, we waited nearly an hour for our food, which felt like a stretch. To make matters worse, after placing our order, we were told they didn’t have one of the items we chose. They offered a free replacement but still charged us for the unavailable item—a frustrating oversight. The food itself was hit or miss. The Oysters Rockefeller were lukewarm and served on a bed of uncooked lentils, which for presentation is fine, but biting into a hard lentil mixed in with the sauce was unpleasant. My 45-day dry-aged ribeye was tough and undercooked compared to the usual medium-rare I order. On the plus side, the prime rib was enjoyable, and the sides were the highlight of the meal. When we realized the missing item was still on the bill, it took 15 minutes to resolve, and instead of fixing the charge, they offered $50 in free arcade play, which covered the cost but wasn’t what I wanted. I simply wanted the bill to be correct. Overall, it wasn’t the dining experience we were hoping for.

I ordered escargot to start, the sea bass and the asparagus. I talked to the waiter and three times told him I needed everything gluten-free and he said no problem. After waiting quite a long while, I got the escargot which is wrapped in puff pastry, which is not gluten-free. He could make it without. Then I got my dinner after another long while and it was cold. Everything from the fish to the asparagus and the sauce for the asparagus was almost solid (very thick and cold). Apparently the chef made the escargot again with the puff pastry, and after I was completely done and had already paid the final order of escargot finally came out. $118.00 w/o the escargot and I was completely disappointed with the service and food.

Great food the steaks were great. The hanging bacon was outstanding along with the cornbread. The service was good but not outstanding. Would recommend this place to anyone wanting a nice evening out.
