When you claim that you’re adding a signature steakhouse experience, every detail has to be considered to transform you from the stresses of business and life.

The décor is modern, but not pretentious. The ambiance is sophisticated and multisensory, yet comfortable. The staff is educated, but not showy. The uniforms are unique, but classically tasteful.

Like the restaurant itself, the menu departs from a classic steakhouse without chasing away traditionalists. Categories range from classic steaks and chops to seafood – including lobster tail.

We said robust, right? Double Cut literally means so large that your jaw hits the table. Larger portions, tons of ambiance. There’s the dinner bell. Where’s that steak knife?

My family and I had a great time spoiling ourselves here. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Food and drink were very tasty. Loved getting the cherry smoked old fashioned. Such a fun experience and tasty cocktail. My 5 year old loved her chicken bites and fries, her vegetarian father enjoyed his pasta, and I was very pleased with my French onion soup and prime rib sandwich. Ice cream sundae cart was a huge hit with our little one! What a fun family outing!!

From the specialty cocktails to the appetizers to the sushi to the burger to the steaks and sides- even the kids meals- D E L I C I O U S. From the hostess to the server to the food runners- even the manager greeting tables- service was A M A Z I N G. If you plan to have a fancy dinner during your stay- whether it’s mom and dad or the whole family- I highly recommend!

My wife’s oysters Rockefeller were soggy, the escargot was just bread and butter, my dry aged 20oz ribeye was overcooked and way too salty. The baked potato was undercooked. Not impressed.

We really enjoyed the meals. We ordered the New York Strip, Scallops, Calamari/Shrimp, and a Lemon Drop Cocktail. The steak was cooked well a bit on the saltier side if that's what you like. The calamari was very good as well not many shrimp were included in the meal though maybe 4 small size. Scallops were okay, but the sauce had little to no taste and we didn't sense any truffle within it or slices as described. Lemon Drop was okay as others described the alcohol content is high, but mostly tastes like vodka with a lemon peel and sugar in it. Overall the meal was enjoyable for a special occasion, but I'd pay maybe $80-90 vs the $150 we were charged.

The place it’s beautiful, the food was expensive but that’s not the issue, the issue it’s the flavor I order a 45 days ribeye medium and comes all burned can’t be eated because all the taste it’s burn parts, and no flavor too then order a prime rib and the same, it was good but not that good and same to the sides the lobster Mac and cheese only have little bites of lobster but minimal and the Mac and cheese feels all dry, the drinks was horrible we can’t drink it because the only taste it’s alcohol nothing else, honestly I love the place but the food was horrible, if you want a steak go to tx roadhouse or any other steak house this it’s not the right place it’s only expensive and when I tell them about my steak was all burn and I can’t eat it they said it’s my fault because I supposed to ask for the rare, and have to pay something then I don’t even eat it

Probably one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a very long time. The food was phenomenal. Service was amazing! Our waitress Carla was remarkable! We are from Atlanta but will definitely be back next time we’re in Austin.
