A SIGNATURE DINING EXPERIENCE

Double Cut Steak House truly is a signature dining experience where every detail is considered to transform you from the stresses of business and life.

Transport into our contemporary steakhouse, featuring a menu with robust selections cooked over hot coals including steak, seafood, chops, chicken and vegetables.

The décor will be modern, but not pretentious. The ambiance, sophisticated and multisensory, yet comfortable. The staff, educated, but not showy. The uniforms unique, but classically tasteful. Welcome to Double Cut.

The menu departs from a classic steakhouse without chasing away traditionalists. Categories will range from classic steaks and chops to seafood – including lobster tail.

Live Entertainment in the Bar area on Friday and Saturday Nights from 8pm-Midnight.

The food was not worth the price. I had to send my steak back because it was overcooked. My wife's drink (lemon drop) was extremely bitter. My daughters burger was burnt. The waitress was excellent. She provided outstanding service and was very apologetic for the food and drink errors. The wait staff is 5 star. The food is 3 stars at best.

We were seated at 7:45 for an 8 o’clock reservation for adults for children. We didn’t place our order for almost 45 minutes. Our waitress went MIA. We were informed that our meal would be out three different occasions. We did not leave the restaurant till after 10 o’clock Note 2 of the children did not even order any food. Steak filet mignon was excellent, but I do not feel it was worth the price very pricey restaurant.

Our waiter was wonderful! The prices were a bit high for my liking but the food was delicious.

The steak is too old and sushi is not delicious. I order New York strip for medium rare but it tastes like over burn. I order California roll and rainbow roll .The rice tastes like over night rice.

It was our first time at Double Cut and it was a very nice evening. Our server was excellent and thee food was great. We will be going back.

Double Cut, made a very great impression on our 1st visit to Kalahari Resort. I definitely recommend to try this restaurant out. LIVE Music, Great ambiance and they have section with Family Friendly side and if you on Date Night.

Food was outstanding. The fresh-baked roasted garlic bread with black salt butter was fabulous. We got the hanging bacon and the DC sushi roll for appetizers and both were delicious. The maple bacon was so good and the DC roll had filet mignon and was one of the best rolls that we have had. I had the prime rib 12 oz which was tasty and the ribeye was cooked to perfection. We opted for the trio of sides that included a large baked potato, asparagus, and bourbon glazed mushrooms all of which were delicious. We finished with the ice cream sundae cart which had an abundance of toppings so that you could load up and make a spectacular sundae. There was a piano player who played throughout dinner. He was excellent and played a variety of songs from different genres, everything from Elton John and Billy Joel to John Legend. We would only give the service 3 stars and that was because of our main server. The food runners and bar tenders were all attentive and get 5 stars. Our server started by setting the water bottle down on the table. It should be poured by the server if it’s a fancy steak house. We asked for chocolate sauce for our sundae and it wasn’t warm enough to pour so she promised to bring us a cup of sauce. We never got the cup of chocolate sauce. There was one point where we were sitting for a little bit of time and the bartender noticed me looking around for the server and came out from behind the bar to clear the table. 5 stars to the bartender and food runners for being so attentive. The server was “Hailey’s Waitress”-she only seemed to come around once every 86 years. All-in-all we had an excellent dinner with mostly great service. The main server can learn a lot from the bartender and food runners in paying attention to the customers.

EVERYTHING was wonderful. However, for the price of the beef, I was extremely disappointed to learn it was Choice and not Prime. Despite the beef quality, the cook was good!
