A SIGNATURE DINING EXPERIENCE

Double Cut Steak House truly is a signature dining experience where every detail is considered to transform you from the stresses of business and life.

Transport into our contemporary steakhouse, featuring a menu with robust selections cooked over hot coals including steak, seafood, chops, chicken and vegetables.

The décor will be modern, but not pretentious. The ambiance, sophisticated and multisensory, yet comfortable. The staff, educated, but not showy. The uniforms unique, but classically tasteful. Welcome to Double Cut.

The menu departs from a classic steakhouse without chasing away traditionalists. Categories will range from classic steaks and chops to seafood – including lobster tail.

Live Entertainment in the Bar area on Friday and Saturday Nights from 8pm-Midnight.

We arrived a little early for our 830 reservations and was told that there are reservations a head of us but we could grab a seat at the bar or by the piano and they would come find us. Cool, sounded great. We went to the bar and waited, had a drink, waited….nothing. About 15 minutes past the reservation time (and they were NOT crowded) I sent my husband to go follow up. Oh I forgot was the response he was greeted with and then we were seated. Simply not doing the job is what it seemed. The food was really good, I got the filet , it was medium as requested and it was nice that they asked me to checked that it looked properly cooked before he left. It was good but nothing to write home about. My husband got the scrimp with crab meat and the lobster mac n’ cheese. He really enjoyed the mac n’ cheese and the portion was good for the price. Our waitress Amber was excellent!! She was so sweet and made recommendations and very knowledgeable about the food. She came to check on us a few time and was so sweet.

We were really hopeful about this place. We were in the poconos for 2 nights and thought we would treat ourselves to a nice meal. We booked Double Cut and thought it was a fun vibe when we got there. Service was great but the food was subpar to say the least. Nothing was seasoned. My husband’s $58 filet looked like boiled meat, no seasoning, no char, still overcooked. Everyone’s steak was overcooked. The lobster Mac n cheese had full croutons on top rather than breadcrumbs, making it difficult to eat. For the amount of money they charged, we were expecting 5 star dining with excellent food and honestly, this place was not it. I wish I was able to leave a better review but please know going into this restaurant, you will absolutely be overpaying for what you get.

We LOVE this place! It never disappoints. Excellent, friendly service with a nice atmosphere. Kristen was our server and she was awesome!

Our server Shawn was outstanding! While waiting for our desserts he showed us a card trick none of us could debunk how he did it! Truly made our night 10/10!

The food deteriorated- smaller portions. The bacon got smaller, the oysters were tiny and the truffle fries were so few! Fries? Who does that?

Honestly, I hate reviewers and despite those whom use this platform out of hate. However, for a 1st timer of leaving a review on a place I’m so sorry to tell my experience… I made a reservation online for my 30th birthday dinner for 9:00 pm which was approved and scheduled. I receive a phone call at 8:15 explaining that the restaurant actually closes at 9:00pm so we would have to be there at 8:45pm. Alright, that was no big deal since myself and my husband were dressed already. Upon arrival we get to the restaurant not too many guests as expected since we understood the hours situation. However the restaurant assured our table and service prior to our arrival. Our server was nice but didn’t look happy to see us. Mind you this is an expensive, and extensive dining experience, considering it being a fancy steakhouse. We weren’t expecting “the works” from her bc we knew they were closing up shortly. She barely greeted us, as soon as we sat down was pressuring us to order everything in one sentence bc “the kitchen was closing”. We were literally sat for 2 minutes. The menu is so unorganized it really does take at least 5 minutes to get through everything. We work in the restaurant business and understand the foh staff has no control over the kitchen hours, however the business should have just canceled our reservation on the phone instead of having us come in to be treated this horrible. My poor husband who mainly speaks Spanish just needed a little time to try to understand what it is he was looking at, which I’m not even sure of bc of the menu being all over the place and I speak fluent English. I explained to the server he was having a hard time that he needed another minute. She just stared at us like a burden and just seemed annoyed with us. It made my husband feel so embarrassed and uncomfortable I just ordered for him so we could just eat and get the hell out. The server never came back to check on us. The only time she returned was for the bill.. never again❌
