The restaurant is new and looks like there’s more to do to sort the interior. Also they don’t have a license to serve alcohol just yet. However, these are small things which will be sorted in time I’m sure. The food is fantastic and the service was fine. It’s southern Indian food so a little bit different to the usual Indian restaurant. The breads -paratha, naan, butter naan - are all fantastic and the starters are spot on too. Currys aren’t heavy and the meat is tender and well cooked. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who like Indian food.

First visit and I can only say it was wonderful! The food was so tasty and authentic southern Indian cuisine, the service excellent and all staff were friendly, chatty and knowledgeable about their menu. We originally went because of the Thali as we’ve not had one for years, and it didn’t disappoint. Starters and drinks were fab too. Portion sizes were plentiful, and we will definitely be back. A huge thank you to all the staff for a wonderful time.

The food itself was tasty and well cooked - however it was sadly lukewarm and took a long time to arrive [apparently a chef did not turn up for shift]. This doesn't explain why we asked for drinks 3 times and they turned up after the food though. Front of house team seemed nice but struggling. The room is echoey and the table was sticky - they really need to work on the ambience too. It's a relatively new place - I'm hoping they can pick up and improve as the food itself showed promise.

Firstly this is a new restaurant and I’m sure it will improve. The service is slow and the restaurant lacks atmosphere. However the food is very good, and the lamb kothu is highly recommended. The menu has plenty of choices that are not normally available in a standard Indian restaurant.

We walked in to the restaurant first and were turned away saying there were no tables. There were literally 5 empty tables with no reserved note on table top. I just stepped out, went to the website, booked the table on OpenTable and went back in. We were simply given our table. What a joke! We ordered chapati, naan, one curry, and dal makhani. The food was overflowing with oil (Indian food can be made with less oil!!), and the portion sizes were small for the price charged. Not the best experience to be honest.

Lovely food and friendly service. However we arrived before several other tables who received drinks and food before us. We waited ages to order and therefore eat. Staff were charming but not on top of it from the point of view of being attentive. We had to get their attention for anything we needed every time.

Staff were very friendly and attentive. Food was well presented and fresh. We would have really valued a more detailed key on the menu that assisted our choices re how hot and spicy the food was. We chose dishes that we thought would be less hot as they did not have the chilli symbol next to them. However, for us they were still very hot and spicy. Maybe a gauge would help other spicy lightweights like ourselves.

We were tourists to the Cotswold area for my birthday and we found this place after great reviews on Google. We went on my birthday and from the start when we messaged the restaurant on open table and on the website, we received a same day reply. On arrival we were greeted by friendly, attentive waiters and we enjoyed speaking to each and every one of them, hearing about the history of the restaurant as it's only opened up recently. The food is very authentic, one of the best south Indian food we've had in a long time - on par with the many in London I've had. Food was fresh, nicely spiced and no artificial food dyes or excess oil used. Even the gulab jamun you could tell was freshly made rather than shop bought (confirmed also by restaurant). We had chicken and lamb thali (huge, super filling) and chicken chukka and trio chat All was delicious and we wanted to come back another day for the dosa but we're leaving Cotswold soon sadly. Another time! Just when we were stuffed, out came two complimentary extra desserts with hally birthday piped and masala tea for the both of us - such a nice touch!! Overall,an excellent culinary journey and really nice staff which means we'll be back for the dosas another time hopefully...!

Very good friendly service, best bhajis I’ve had - really delicious! Loved the dosa and food was great. Quite spicy but you could still taste the flavours. We will definitely be back and would certainly recommend it. Very pleased to have this place in Ciren.
