I usually don't write reviews, but this situation warrants an exception. We were seated promptly, and I'll give credit for honoring our reservation. Our waitress was friendly and polite throughout the meal, which I appreciated. However, things started to go downhill when we requested the lunch menu, only to be informed that they only had the regular menu available—much more expensive than expected. The pace of the service also felt rushed, with our appetizer arriving almost simultaneously with the main course. The real issue arose when it came time to settle the bill. A colleague of mine paid without closely checking the charges. After we left, I asked how much we had spent, and something seemed off. Upon reviewing the receipt, I discovered they had added a 25% service fee (tip) without informing us. According to my knowledge this is illegal... To make matters worse, my colleague unknowingly added an extra 20% tip on top of that. By the time we noticed, we were already Downtown and didn’t feel like returning to dispute the charges. Unfortunately, this left a bad impression, and I doubt I'll be returning to this restaurant anytime soon.

Host on duty was amazing. I was having a terrible trip into Manhattan but he made everything better :) Margarita was delicious. Only negative was the Cobb salad having much less chicken and avocado than my last visit in Times Square. The portion for $20+ should be more. Nice atmosphere and comfortable temperature inside (steamy summer day)

Quick, helpful, welcoming service, delicious food, and really wonderful cocktails. Also, out of this world churros. Thanks for a great time!

The restaurant was very understaffed this evening. (Tacos and a Margaritas took 2 hours.) Staff was working very hard and the food was good, but the management should have acknowledged the incredibly poor staffing to the customers. There were no apologies….

Dos Caminos on midtown east is a huge and spacious place. The staff is wonderfully warm and attentive. The food is really delicious and beautifully prepared and it is very reasonably priced. The drinks are great too but the tequilas are pretty darn expensive. The ambience downstairs was rather noisy since it includes the bar and 3 huge screens playing at the same time. Very tolerable for most. We are older and prefer a bit more quiet. All in all a fabulous dinner.

Portions got smaller. They used to be bigger. Very tasteful though.

So disappointing- the food was just bad: mushy, tasteless guacamole, lukewarm, unseasoned main courses, drinks that tasted like lighter fluid. Our server was lovely but harried.

Beautiful decor and very comfortable overall. The service was quick and very friendly. The food was hot and fresh and delicious. The churros were an awesome dessert by the way. Menu had lots of good options. And the Margueritas were delicious. We very much enjoyed our dinner here and wil be back. No tax on tips vote Trump2024.

Everything we ordered tasted delicious. Only issue was a delay with the drinks but they made up by giving us a pitcher
